I had argentine black ants. I worked with Ben Taylor. He said if I have a question to give him a call. I did call a few times with questions and he was very courteous and nice. They did a great job. I felt they are honest as I had concerns that were addressed by other termite companies. Ben was able to ease my concerns and said the information I received from the previous companies was not all true. I cannot speak highly enough about the high integrity of this company. I would use them again and recommend their service. I actually have cards that I hand out to others for referrals when asked.

I've had a contract with ECOLA for ten years or so. They come and inspect every year, or during the year if there's an issue, and if they find anything, they treat it. The inspectors and technicians are very professional and friendly. They wear "booties" in the house to protect the floor. Most important, when they treat termites they don't come back. Worth a call!

The tenting went well, the co. showed up on time and was finished quickly. That was on Monday and on Wednesday by ten Am. all cleaned up.

Communication was poor. I told the contact person I know I have rodents but I need a termite check too.  She asked if I was selling the house and needed a certificated inspector.  I said no.  They set up a Sat. appt. and gave me a 3 hour window.  I called after they were a half hour past the window.  They contacted the estimator and said they are running late.  They called  back again and asked if 3:30 would be okay?  I had been waiting since 11 am. I was trying to decide if I was going to put my old dog down that day.  I had a Quality of Life appt. at 4. I said No.  She was apologetic and empathetic.  Then we tried to rescheduled.  I sat around again.  I checked my messages and she said the tech was outside but I wasn't home he waited 20 minutes.  I said did he ring the door bell she said no he didn't want to come in the gate b/c of my beware of dog sign (which is mandatory to post whether your dog is aggressive or not). I was home up stairs waiting for someone to knock/ ring the door bell. She asked if he could come back at 3 something again.  Again I had the sad job of taking my dog in b/c his health had declined so much. She was very nice and said We rescheduled for Thursday. at 7 am. So I could be the first appt.  I appreciated that.  Then, 7:30 happened and Dennis came to the door apologized and I said do you want to go in the attic to give me your estimate for the termites bc its already getting hot.  He said, I am not the termite guy.  I am the other pests.  I  am not qualified to do termites.  He call the office she tried to explain and reschedule with they other guy.  I said no thank-you,  I have had enough.  I just put my dog down.  They did have a supervisor leave a message to try to rectify but was worried that communication would continue into the treatment of the rodents and termites.

The technician was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable.  He agreed that the ant infestation was very bad, and one treatment might not be sufficient.  He did have to come back in about 2 weeks to redo the master bathroom, where the ants continued to come out of the wall behind the temperature regulator, but I am now ant free.  He and I were also amazed that the outside showed no further ant trails or nests.  I would highly recommend this company.

I already knew I had a termite problem after spotting termite droppings in my garage. Ecola was the first company doing an inspection. Since I intend to have localized treatment done and not tenting, it is imperative that the inspector find all the areas that have active termite colonies. Ecola's inspection was not thorough enough, as two other companies subsequently found termites in areas that Ecola did not find them.
