They did a great job!  No residual sign of a dent at all.  We keep their business card handy in case we ever need them again.

They come to your house and fix it. They are not inexpensive. When they are done it looks brand new.  I think the price is worth it, your car looks so much better when they are done. They do a great job and are on time.

The minivan had several 3 x 1/2 inch black areas where the white paint had been chipped off when a vehicle hit the rear bumper quite hard. There was also a long slightly depressed area along the lower part of the right sliding door and fender.  There were several minor black areas over the depression and other sites.  We had used Michael almost ten years ago and were very favorably impressed.  Michael  told us by phone that he would not be making repairs that day, and arrived as scheduled late in the day to quote.  After checking the damage, he recommended that the depressions be repaired in a body shop.  He described how I could use touch up paint as a temporary measure.
I had some touch up paint, so he checked it, then unpacked his bag, cleaned and polished the areas lacking paint, then applied my touch up paint.  His final painting result looked practically new from a few feet away so  I have decided that further work is now unnecessary.
Michael refused payment. He is obviously one who thinks that doing a good job and keeping a customer happy is more important than his making money.

Discovered the dent on Tuesday afternoon. Called Ding Doctor and scheduled a visit (Michael does all work at customer site) the next morning. He arrived on time, but after looking at the location and size of the dent, felt that he didn't have sufficient time allocated that day. He quoted a price of $350. We rescheduled for Friday morning. Michael called about an hour before the scheduled start time to warn that he'd be 30 minutes late. He arrived at around the rescheduled time and began working on the door. It turned out to be more challenging than he expected, because of the location of the dent and the configuration of the door structure on the Prius, which limited internal access. He was forced to do 90% of the repair using a glue-pull technique. Michael spent nearly 5 hours on the repair, and would have continued working on it for another hour or two if I hadn't kicked him loose. The repair looks very good and I'm certain he would have returned it to nearly perfect condition if I had let him keep going. He also indicated that if I care to, he would be happy to come back and keep working on it to get an even better result -- at no additional charge. In general, I was extremely impressed with Michael's professionalism and dedication to a satisfactory result. He has apparently been doing this for 12 years and seems to be truly interested in improving his techniques and results.
