James and his crew did a fairly large job for us including backyard, front yard and outdoor living space. Deep Rooted Designs knocked it out of the park. We came into the process with a budget and a few must-haves, and James worked with us to make sure his design included them, but also kept us within our budget. The result was something we are happy and proud to call our own. Deep Rooted Designs went above and beyond as they were very flexible with some issues that happened during the build. We needed to move our gas meter 10 feet, something we thought would be pretty simple. However, our power utility gave us bad information and turned a relatively simply job into a 2 month nightmare. James not only worked out a way to move a custom shed he built so we could dig out the gas line, but was able to work us back into his schedule without too much hassle. After the work was done, he's kept in touch, done some tune up work and has replaced some plants that didn't do so well. I highly recommend him and Deep Rooted Designs.

After completing a 2-phase home remodel and 1 landscape project we were fairly familiar with the design and build process. Given maintenance and water requirements of the existing landscape we elected to convert our water intensive landscape to a water-wise oasis. The project encompassed removing and replacing approx.6000sq of softscape and hardscape material. James Fahy (Owner) distinguished himself above the other firms we interviewed given his skill set (both hard and softscapes (hard to find someone that does both), knowledge, proposal/renderings and enthusiasm. Their creative concepts encompassed our desire for a tranquil environment that allowed for improved usage of our yard and water. Unlike most contractors (especially landscapers) James was fully involved in the project from start to finish. His attentiveness and responsiveness during the entire process were AMAZING! This alone would distinguish him as a leader in the industry but the final project they created definitely catapults him as a PREMIER landscaper. As with most landscape projects some plants struggle from stress and James & his team are right there to help replace them to ensure your yard and their project look its best.
