This work was done on a rental residence so tentant was present. I have only communicated with Vic over the phone. He seems knowledgeable and we are satisfied with the work done. My tenant indicated that she did have to clean up laundry room area after water heater installation. Water heater repl & rework installation $1210. Repl. angle stops two bathroom $285 less discount $50 for amount of work being done during one visit. Repl. cartridge shower control (no chg. parts/mfgr. supplied) - labor $35. Vic had been recommended to us by another service provider who confidently vouched for his expertise and reliability. We would use him again.
"As a company, reviews are a good thing, no one likes a bad review. On this review not all the facts were given. Let’s start with the cost a 40 gallon water heater with all the parts ( ¾” ball valve, two water connectors in stainless steel, T&P valve, gas & flex, gas drip tubing, earthquake straps, venting if needed, copper piping & fittings, removal of old heater & Labor $980.00 without a stand). On this water heater, we charged $850.00 which included a new water heater with stand, the old water heater was on wall held up with two ¾” piping not to CODE and very dangerous. We at CVB Plumbing only do work to CODE. When we did this call the property management company authorized us to do the work because this was an emergency call. The homeowner stated that she felt our price was too high as the last water heater she had installed only cost $350.00, that was 20 years ago and not to code. I know as a customer pricing is very important. The Basket strainer for $75.00 was Parts & Labor installed. As for the bill being hand written all our invoices are hand written on a professionally printed invoice with invoice numbers. As for us not responding to her inquiry, that is not true. We did talk with her several times about this call. As the Owner of this company, I try my best to do everything I possibly can to be professional, courteous and offering good service for a reasonable cost. I can’t help but feel that we did everything exactly the correct way. I Hope this help. As A consumer myself being treated fairly is what we all desire and if she call us back for work in the future we will do everything we can to earn her respect and trust."
