Champion Chem Dry

I am not sure I am a fan of the chem dry system. I think I like the more traditional carpet cleaning.

We liked them. I think they were careful and nice and they did a good job. The carpet was not left sopping wet which was nice about the Chem Dry system. They did leave things under the furniture so there were no marks left by the furniture after they left. They were reasonable priced and they would come when they said they would come. We did not have any spots come back up after the carpet was dried. I did buy a spot remover from them and it was a very good product.

They have always done a good job. I did have a hole in my carpet and the gentleman doing the cleaning referred me to someone that could do a repair for me.

They sent an independent person, it was not a professional car that came. It was an individual and they did a good job, but that was not what I expected when I hired them. He did not present himself very professional while he was at my home.

They showed up they were on time and I would use them again. They did their work and I they did a good job. The pricing was fine.

I liked the fact that it was pretty dry when they left.

When we purchased the top of the line carpet at Home Depot Expo we were given three years of carpet cleaning extended service. The first year in 2008 we received a terrific technician, Aaron. He gave me his business card which I kept. This year was a very different story and entirely disappointing. I called Champion to make the appointment. The day of the appointment I got a phone call that I had to call the corporate office and get an authorization number or the technician couldn't come. Luckily I was able to get expedited authorization. About four hours before our appointment time the technician called to say he was on his way. Because we have a home office, we could not have him come early. We rescheduled. The technician arrived on time. He talked on his cell phone the entire time he was bringing in his equipment. I had moved everything portable form the rooms including dining room chairs, etc. It took this technician, he had no business cards, less than 45 minutes to clean 7 rooms! When I pointed out that the hallway wasn't clean he said "that's because you tracked into the house," and he recommended we were booties. He did not attempt to spot clean or clean the area again. We bought absolutely top quality carpet and know that it cleans well because I put identical carpet in my father's condo. I saw the exact swirl pattens were he worked and could see he did not move anything. I signed the receipt and saw the amount of the bill which presumably gets paid by Home Depot. Glad I wasn't paying it!! I called the company immediately after he left and was put through to the manager voice message. He never returned my call. This is a follow up report to the services I received from this company as reported to Angie's list on September 17, 2009. Champion Chem Dry cleaned approximately 1650 sq ft of carpet in my home. After reporting my experience on Angie's List, I received a telephone call from the franchise owner of Champion ChemDry. In fact, he left three telephone messages since I was out of town for several weeks. I appreciated his consistent attempts to contact me and rectify my disappointment. Jorge was apologetic and offered to re-clean my carpet at no cost. He was personally on-site to ensure my satisfaction. They did a very good job of spotting areas and cleaning. While my earlier review was an accurate description, I believe that the company owner did everything possible to ensure an excellent experience. I will use this company again in the future. There is no doubt in my mind that the technician I had earlier "had a bad day" and I am confident that the owner took appropriate action.
