We utilized Chad of All Trades for a complete exterior remodel, new hardscape in front and back, new pergola, fire pit, patio,bocce ball court, built in BBQ, paint and landscaping. Incredible experience! Finished on time and on budget. Looks amazing! Easiest remodel we have ever done. They were a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Highly recommend Chad of All Trades!

Project went fantastic. Finished ON TIME and ON BUDGET. We had one issue after the project was completed (not surprising) and they were right on it and solved the problem. They didn't take a shortcut either, they took the time to diagnose the problem and fix it the right way. Trust me you aren't going to find a group of people that are easier and better to work with. We have already recommended Chad and his team to others and will use them again in the future.

Chad is amazing!! Literally every single subcontractor that came to our home was professional, timely, courteous, clean, and just a pleasure to deal with... we had plumbers, painters, cabinetry installers, electrical, etc. I mean every single one of them was a reflection of Chad and his professionalism. We also had some pretty hard personal complications and the guys worked through them so spectacularly. They totally understood our vision, absolutely worked with our budget, kept things clean and safe and were on time! The level of communication was fantastic... constant response to emails, constant phone communication, pictures of the status of our projects, expert recommendations and just really fantastic work. David, our project manager, was the same way. I have NEVER had such a wonderful experience with a contractor nor do I know anyone who has ever had such a great experience. Most people just complain about their contractors, whether it's an issue with budget, timeline, etc. Chad and his team were fantastic!

It was a pleasure doing business with Chad of All Trades.  David Bird was a great PM, and I appreciated the time he took to answer questions and explain things to me.  He was always open to my suggestions and provided excellent feedback.  He was at the home everyday to ensure that quality work was being performed and the project was proceeding as planned.
The Contract / Statement of Work was the most detailed I have ever seen.  Although it took time up-front, it allowed Chad and me to fully understood the scope and each others assumptions.  Chad took the time to talk me through it and make adjustments where needed.  With everything understood at the start, t here were no surprises.  The one item that required a change order was not a surprise.  The contract was detailed to the point that it said if X happens once we open the wall, here is what we will need to do and a change order may be required.
Also, given that the project was going so well, I added scope to the project to take advantage of having different tradespeople in the house.

We've worked with other contractors and were very impressed with his responsiveness, professionalism and excellent attention to detail and work. We wanted to make sure that our new rooms looked like they were options from the builder and Chad did exactly that - people are shocked when we tell them that it was the result of a remodel - you really can't tell! We've recommended him to other friends and they have been equally impressed with him. We've used him multiple times and will continue to use him for other projects. We highly recommend Chad of All Trades!

The cost of the service was between $5,000 and $7,000. They delivered on the price and on time. We were more than happy to pay their price because they were competitive and very fair. They actually even did a bunch of extra work for us. We had somebody else trying to fix the deck and screwed it all up. With them, they did everything like whatever their promises were and we never had a problem. They did the job for a week and a half. They showed up on time and finished the work on time. They cleaned up and it was all good. We dealt with Chad, the owner of the company.

Chad came out to the house and evaluated how we could make some improvements to the garage, increase the usable space and upgrade some important elements.  He took 2 days and came back with some very impressive ideas.  We implemented every single one and could not be happier.  We got started immediately and the work was complete in less than 3 days.  While on the job, Chad identified some serious wood rot and other issues with the exterior of the garage and house.  He promised he could fix everything simultaneously with the other work.  I was skeptical but they did.  We added lots of room for bikes and other needed storage.  The floors are indestructible now and it's never been easier to clean.  The outside is perfect and you cannot tell there was any work done.  We are very excited to have used Chad of All Trades and will do so again.

Honest.  Reliable.  Punctual.

Well, I guess I could also say:
Not only was it a great experience to have worked with such a fastidious communicator, but Chad and his team were also efficient, courteous, punctual and most of all, each of them were experts in their respective fields.  I mean, I was already impressed by Chad's prowess and easy ability to explain what I would usually deem as complicated problems, but when he was not 100% certain about an unexpected issue, or with some new custom thing that I had heard about and wanted to incorporate in my project on a whim, he always seemed to know someone even more knowledgeable than him that had the solution. 
Again, being in the remodel industry myself, I have a lot of experiences with other builders and trades professionals, so had a pretty rigid wall up at the beginning of this project and interview process, and I will admit I put Chad through the ringer to make sure he had the stuff I was looking for in terms of quality and communication.  But he hit a home run.  He never missed a beat.  I impressed by this young man's business acumen, skills and knowledge of his industry.
Oh, and lets not forget that his quality was ridiculous, and not at all overpriced for the value.  I think this is something others should know, by the way: when you are looking to get a bid, you cannot shop a remodel on price.  Chad really understands this and knows how to build value in his product.  He gives the BEST value out there for the quality and service he provides.  Hands down from any other builder I have ever worked with.
I will definitely continue to refer Chad and his entire team to my friends and work acquaintances.

The blemishes were all homeowner created by the change-orders.   Chad of All Trades navigated through these with aplomb and professionalism.

We hired Chad of All Trades to repair a large, second story deck that had been problematic for over 10 years.  Two other contractors had made repairs but we continued to have leaks into our garage.  Chad came in and took the time to properly review the deck from all angles and was able to detect that when our house had been originally constructed, the wrong shielding had been used along the edge, behind the drywall.  His crew fixed it on time and on budget.  They were careful not to disturb our daily living and were extremely respectful the whole time.  They came back to check that the paint matched.  They even came back for some minor touch-ups that my "eye-for-detail" wife wanted...and this was AFTER they had already been paid in full.  All around first rate service.
Chad has done two other jobs in our neighborhood based on my references and they are both happy.  It takes a lot for me to recommend somebody to do work for neighbors since nobody moves here!
We made it through the winder solid and dry.  I just checked the garage eves and other areas and see no stains or signs of leakage.

The overall job was amazing. The first time we met Chad and his team, we immediately felt comfortable and knew we could trust them. They take a lot of pride in their work. Their craftsmanship and commitment to customer satisfaction comes through in everything they do.

The work was completed far better than we ever imagined, wall paint colors perfectly matched and every member of the crew cordial and professional.  And the bonus---the house was cleaned with pristeen perfection.
The finished product gave our home an entire facelift.   Since completion we have had three major events with over 100 people in each attending, including a wedding last Saturday, May 11.   The raves have been thunderous.  
Chad had previously renovated our beach house from a single story to a two story, thus the reason we chose him for this job.   We are now so pleased with the outcome of this most recent  job that we are now working with an architect and engineer to add a three car garage, Mother-in-law unit, and pool to the house.    We now call Chad of All Trades even for our minor maintenance needs---just had a plumbing leak.   It's just great having a single company you can call whatever your home maintenance needs may be.

We hired Chad of All Trades to do our deck. We talked to a number of other companies and looked at some photos but we re really impressed with Chad Arendsen and his knowledge of decks and coatings. Ours was a rebuild of a previous structure...so we had the pylons and everything from the original deck...we just needed to put a new floor in and replace some rotted wood and then coat the deck. Ours is 480 square feet and we had a pretty strict budget. I was less concerned about the time involved and more with price. We came in right on the budget but were actually way ahead on time...the whole thing took less than 4 days from start to finish. When we have parties on the deck people always ask who built it and we refer them to Chad. All in all a very pleasant experience!
