The Capstone Concrete engraving and acid staining process is a totally unique approach to decorative concrete. Your existing concrete is our canvas. Whether you simply desire a change in color or an authentically engraved and acid stained old world stone surface, no one else comes close. Our mission is to provide the most durable product, with a most realistic look, at an affordable price. We will meet with you personally and bring concrete samples providing you with a feel for color blends and pattern options. At this time we will derive a general idea for the overall look to be achieved. "ACID" stain is by far the most durable coloring process for existing concrete. It colors the concrete chemically without building up a layer or coating. This is a similar but accelerated oxidation process that occurs to real stone in the natural environment. "ENGRAVING" is by far the most durable stone design process for existing concrete. This process strategically removes a small amount of your concrete from the surface to provide a design and profile. There is no layer or coating on the surface to potentially peel or flake.

Tim Lindberg, the owner, was very prompt in getting back to me on the initial inquiry and took alot of time explaining the process they used. This is not a coating and no new concrete was poured. We had to wait a few months to get on the schedule, but Tim contacted us a couple of weeks before they were scheduled and worked with us in finalizing the date. They showed up on time and finished on schedule. The process takes several days and they get your input at each stage to ensure satisfaction with the final product. Tim spent the first day working with us on planning the final design. Each night they cleaned up and you could barely tell they were there.
We are very happy with the results and have even gotten high compliments from neighbors, friends and even other contractors that we are working with on other projects. We would definitely do this project again and highly reccomend Capstone Concrete.
