Computer Repair
My college daughter set up the appointment before I had a chance to check Angie's List. She described the problems the Toshiba was having. Chuck indicated that the worst case would be the hard drive needed to be replaced and the total cost would be about $300 and he would check it out at our home the next day and then likely take it overnight. Unfortunately the disks were at college and so we thought he would be unable to reload the majority of the software for us (the plan was for him to provide phone support). What good news that he was able to repair/recover without replacing the hard drive and going through the hassle of reloading. He shared some ideas with my daughter about adding software and applying critical updates. The add-on of the HP was while we were waiting for the initial diagnostics on his first visit. I was anxious about "a guy from the yellow pages" but am glad that I can now make a reference. He also offers student and military pricing.
