We have been using them for 15 years and their designers and products are excellent. The have built cabinets, closets and book cases for us. The last job they did was rebuilt a closet in our bathroom. They products are guarantee for life so if their products are damage they will come and fix it. The designers are personable, prompt and are great friendly people. They are willing to work on what you want. They are on time and get the job done by one day.

I've used California a couple of times in the past and have been very happy with the results. There was a problem with the design that I didn't anticipate, but it was resolved eventually. The workman was very professional and did a good job of cleaning up after the job.

I waited a little while between estimate and actually committing to the project and it paid off. I was able to get a free wood upgrade instead of the plain white. Now it looks spectacular. Consultant Ben heard our needs and made reasonable suggestions that suit our lifestyle bang on! The work crew was on time, focused and professional. They were in and out in half a day! I will definitely look to them again for my other closets and nooks.

Product is high quality and fits well. Work was done on time and the crew cleaned up after completing work. These folks are a bit pricey so expect some sticker shock.

They were great. They showed up when they said they would. They did what I asked them to do and installed it nicely. There were no problems. They were very responsive.

After I decided on a finish for the cabinets, Ed completed the plans and e-mailed me a copy. It was handy to have the plans to refer to in case of questions because matters could easily be settled on the phone right away. On installation day, Joe and Nathan arrived promptly and got to work. They were happy to answer my questions and they communicated well with each other as the project took shape. When all the cabinets were in, Joe and Nathan vacuumed them out and cleaned them thoroughly. They swept the garage floor and left the area cleaner than when they arrived. A workbench type light was hanging from the rafters, and it would be in the way of one of the closet doors, so Joe relocated it for me. I was happy with the way the day went and I love my new garage.

They were really nice. They were good. They got it done on time. The salesman was good giving ideas on things I hadn't thought of for restructuring. They were a little bit more expensive than I anticipated but it wasn't too bad.

Roland was the designer who worked with us. We found him to be very knowledgeable and professional. He changed the design
to accommodate our wishes and had a number of helpful suggestions. The cabinets were ready on the day scheduled and the installation team (Anthony and Jonathon) did a great job. The quality of the overall project was very good and we were very pleased. The only criticism we had was with the price, but we felt that it was worth the extra that we paid to get a first class job.

It was good but the follow up was terrible. They will tell you anything you want to get it done, at least the guy I dealt with was Big Ed, but once it gets installed the little things that we talked about got forgotten and never got filled in, so the follow up with terrible. There were a couple things that we talked about, one of them was a magnetic lock on the drawer, he told me after the fact oh no, we can't put a magnetic lock on that drawer. The why the hell did we put the drawer in if you can't lock it? Kind of after the fact and then he never got back to me, just never followed up. The craftsmanship was great, but once it's installed to get him back is next to impossible. At least with him. I sent an e-mail and never heard back of course. They got their check, they did 90 percent, 95 percent of the work and then they called it done. They came out great, it's just the last little bits, there is a vale bar that was supposed to be put it, that never got put in. The lock I spoke about, just a few little, little stuff, but you know, it should have been done. It wasn't like a book shop item, it was a lot of work. There is different salesmen, the guy I worked with was Big Ed, he just completely dropped the ball.

It was fine. They provided me with an estimate beforehand and it was a consultant who came. They do not do demolitions so if they do take a part of your closets, they will not repair the closets. That has to be done on your own. That was basically why we haven't used them again.

I wouldn't touch that company with a ten foot pole. Difficult to work with, nasty, unprofessional. Extremely unprofessional, they didn't know what they were doing. The designer, he didn't know what he was doing, for starters. We mapped it out on the wall and that was fine because it was a new system for them. The installers, they didn't bring all the equipment. They kept having to run back to the shop, it was extended beyond the time it was supposed to take to complete the project. Just awful. I live in a high rise, they were awful to the staff here. It was quite a job, I admit, but it was just awful. The doors didn't fit. I mean, it was stuff that they should have properly executed. There isn't anything good I can say about any of them. Totally unprofessional. We banned the designer from being here. They're not recommended in our building. I just wouldn't use them if you have an alternative.

My experience with California Closets was outstanding, friendly, professional, and I would recommend them to anyone. The design stood out to me. The installation was very professional, very clean, and he was very careful to take his time. Their pricing is high. I want to use them to do more but their pricing is high. Their quality was outstanding, their responsiveness was immediate, and they were always early.

Overall the experience went well. Jon isn't the most responsive guy via phone/emails but eventually he does get back to you. Otherwise his estimate was very competitive and the workmanship is excellent. Him and his guy showed up on time and took care of the closets with extreme care in measuring and installation. Very friendly to talk to also and was very courteous at our home while running up and down the stairs with other contractors. Only thing was after they left one of our shelves didn't quite sit right....was a bit too wide....I had it shaved a little bit with a saw and it was fine afterwards. Great quality for the money, I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.
