It went great. I've been going to them for years. They always treat me well. They have very good quality work. Their price is a little bit high but they always takes care of me. Anytime I have a problem I just go over there. They take care of all of my needs.

They are so honest.  I have great confidence in them and reasonable priced.

I am 70 and have NEVER had such good HONEST service for my auto....in any city. They are friendly, honest, knowledgeable, prompt....the list goes on and on. They go above and beyond in every way. A++++++++++++

Great service. Free shuttle if you can't get a ride during a workday. The price seemed a little high to what some others said it would cost from researching online but the convenience and service made up for it. I would use them again.

By 5 pm I still had not heard from the garage. My husband called, was told it would be ready by 6, and to call back then. We called at 6, the garage was closed, we had no car. Next morning I went to garage personally and was told it would be ready by lunchtime, they were sorry but had been totally swamped the day before and were running late with all cars, all that needed to be done now was balancing. They eventually called about 10.30 to tell me car was ready. So I picked up car 24 hours after it was supposed to be ready.

They kept me informed because as they went along they found additional problems and they got my approval. I think it went pretty well. There was good communication.

My 2001 Lexus 4 door car with 73,000 miles had difficulty starting one morning. Having found Boulevard Automotive on AngiesList and it being well rated and near our home, I called to make an appointment for the following morning. I received a confirmation call the evening before the appointment.

The car had an oil change at Meineke in Feb 2010 and the last inspection was done at the Lexus dealership in 2007 at 35,000. Larry recommended the Lexus 60,000 mile check up. However, in reviewing the documents in my file, we discovered that the dealership had done the 60,000 check up in 2007 when the mileage was only 35,000!

Larry recommended an inspection and called within about an hour to recommend the list of services above. They all seemed very reasonable. He was very nice, professional and thorough in his explanations. I received a $40 discount - and made sure he knew I was an AngiesList customer! I will go back the next time my Lexus needs service.

They are professional. They seem very nice. They seem honest. But I would characterise them as being expensive. They are close to a dealership in terms of their pricing. Their location is just walking distance away to where I reside. I can walk back after leaving my car. They seem knowledgeable. I would say, that their initial quote is always going to be kind of an oversell. So one can add a bunch of services to it. You as the individual need to determine what you actually need. For example they would try to sell a transmission flush or engine flush, or whatever and if you ask them their opinion on it they would always tell you that it is necessary. But people who are actually unbiased would say it is not necessary. If you are going to shop there make sure you just don't consent to their initial quotes which would typically include several add-ons which you may or may not need. You need to determine if it is worth it for yourself. The first time I went there I ended up shopping for $2000 when I actually gone there for $800 worth of stuff and they added $1200 worth of stuff which I could have probably done without. I will use this provider in the future.

I was due for an oil change and also thought my suspesnion was going. They said that the suspension was okay but that the struts were overdue for replacement (based on mileage). Their explanation was a bit confusing, but I think that I undersood it.

Great place for women to go - they don't patronize or try to rip you off! These guys are honest, fair, friendly, and extremely customer-service oriented. They gave me a ride to work that morning, and then later called once they had diagnosed my car. They explained what was wrong with my car in terms I could understand and gave me two options for fixing it - mechanic would try to fix "pipe" himself (cheaper) or replace the "pipe". If I asked them to try to fix it and they weren't able to, they'd apply that whole cost toward replacing it - I wouldn't get stuck paying for both. Since my car was going to be in the shop for a few days, they helped me arrange a rental car with Enterprise for $20 per day (for the compact), which is half of what they normally charge. When I picked up my car, the bill was exactly what they told me it would be. They even sent me to La Jolla Car Wash for a free car wash. Better yet, my car works great again! After having had some really bad experiences with mechanics in the past, including the dealership, Boulevard Automotive has definitely earned my confidence and trust! I've been telling everyone I know how great they are.

After having $1200 worth of work done at Boulevard Automotive 200 miles ago, including a full tune-up and radiator inspection and service, my radiator exploded on the freeway and my engine cooked. I don't know if a failing radiator is something that a radiator inspection should reveal, but I was disappointed to have this happen so soon after a costly overall service. I had the car towed back to Boulevard where they proposed a $2000 engine overhaul to make it drivable again. I wrote off the car and had it towed away. They were very friendly and gave great customer service, and didn't charge me for the diagnosis. However, I wasn't pleased to lose my car due to a failing radiator immediately after such a costly service including radiator inspection. I would suggest that Boulevard is quite friendly and probably usually does a great job, but they are extremely expensive and perhaps not worth it for older cars.

Everything went well. They turned my car around quickly. Although their prices seemed high, the quality of their work was high as well. I was happy with them and would use them again.

THEY HAVE BEEN VERY PROMPT AND DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO DO. THEY ARE PRICEY BUT THEY DO GOOD WORK AND IT IS CONSISTENT.
