I didn't have an appointment but they took me in right away, because she had all the cactus still sticking out of her. They had to sedate her, and they were cheaper than other places I have been. I was a new customer, and they took me in right away, which I thought was great. Their availability stands out. They have times on Sundays, and the place is very clean. I was also there with a friend whose pet had passed away, and they were very sympathetic during the tough time.

I've been a client at Bodhi for over a year even though I heard that their prices were higher than other veterinary clinics. It wasn't until I did some comparison shopping that I learned just how much higher.
I recently acquired 3 abandoned puppies that need vaccinations. For a 3-series DHPP vaccination plus 1-time rabies vaccination for 3 puppies Bodhi charges $375 total. Other reputable veterinary clinics that I called charge about $175 total. Bodhi is more than double the price of other veterinary clinics!
Part of the reason that Bodhi is so much more expensive in this particular service is that Bodhi requires a $48 exam fee for each puppy along with the vaccines. However, a Bodhi vet examined the puppies just 4 weeks ago and declared them all healthy -- they are not in need of an exam.
It's unconscionable for Bodhi to charge so much more for vaccination and spay/neuter (which are also significantly higher at Bodhi) because vaccinations and spay/neuter are important to our entire community. (No one wants to get bit by a gang of rabid dogs that are prowling the streets because of pet over-population.)

I like them a lot and I think it is a really nice clinic. The doctors and staff are great. I take all my animals there. They are good with animals and love them. They also are good with people and I think they are very knowledgeable about specific issues and how to deal with them. Everything has been really comfortable and I trust them. They are probably more expensive than other places, but I don't have a problem with it because their level of care is good.
