We have had a few appointments with them and have had an awesome experience. The doctor gives us a personal call following the appointment which is very nice.

My experience overall went well. The vet is very professional and highly knowledgeable in their field. The biggest dissatisfaction was that one of the technicians actually injured our cat, however, I have not have an experience with that technician since. We decided to continue service with this vet and have been pleased with their services since. I would recommend this vet to others.

He was very thorough in his explanation. He was again recommended by a couple of friends and so that's why I went to him because they highly recommended him.

Dr. Fenner is the most nurturing, caring and loving Veterinarian that I have ever met. He is highly skilled and extremely competent in all areas. Dr. Fenner's offices is always available to answer questions about my pet. If Dr. Fenner is not available, then another Veterinarian will assist me. I appreciate the fact that the doctor continually attends conferences in order to stay up on the latest advances in the field of veterinarian medicine. After attending conferences, Dr. Fenner also goes online to listen to workshops that he was unable to attend.

I recently adopted a dog from a rescue shelter, and decided that I would take her to Bernardo Heights Vet Hospital to get her first checkup. Dr. Behrman was great, and spent a lot of time just sitting with my dog until she felt a bit more comfortable being examined. Every step of the service was described in detail, and the staff prints out a service estimate BEFORE going ahead with treatment, which is a great way to actually understand how everything breaks down before committing. My dog was pretty terrified of the vet, mostly because she had probably never been through an exam. However, Dr. Behrman and her staff were incredibly patient and got the exam done.

I felt Dr. Fenner was very professional. He spent a good amount of time with us going over our experiences with the new dog we had just gotten from a rescue group. His advice seemed reasonable. My only real complaint is the same one I have had with a couple of other Vets I have had over the last few years - they are just so expensive ! I just don't understand why all these costly tests and services have become so necessary over the last few years. I spend more money on my dog's health care than on my own.
Overall, I liked him very much, but I am not sure about the expense. I would really like to know if there is a good, but less expensive Vet in my area.

I called the office on a Saturday and I could bring my dog in the office right away. Doctor Fenner did a thorough examine and diagnosed my dog with IBD Everything was thoughtful and professional and very friendly. Dr. Fenner was very kind to my dog. Dr. Fenner gave my dog medications and my dog was back to normal the next day. My dog liked Dr. Fenner and the office staff, my dog was not one minute afraid.

The vet was very responsive and caring and had a good rapport with my cat. My cat did not show signs of stress. The advice offered was helpful and they sent home handouts with additional information and resources. They offered a referral to an animal behavioral specialist. The staff was courteous, concerned and supportive. The office pet cat is very cute and sweet. I would highly recommend this vet.

We were happy with their care. We wanted a closer one in cases of emergencies, so I switched. They provided good service.

Dr. Fenner has been all of my pets' vet for the past 20 years. He is very patient and really cares about his animals. He's also very gentle and kind. He's an all-around wonderful person. When I took a kitten in to him that I found on the way to the vet, I didn't realize that the kitten had passed away. He was very understanding and sympathetic. His prices are a little high, but for the quality of the care that I receive, it's worth it. When I had an emergency with a cat of mine, they managed to get the cat in as soon as I got to the office; they were able to get me in very promptly. Another time, another cat of mine had an usual illness, so I had to bring him in on a weekend. They came in on a weekend to check in on my cat to make sure the cat was okay. I'm very satisfied with his services and I would highly recommend him.

I have been using Dr. Fenner and The Bernardo Heights Veterinary Hospital since they opened their doors. Dr. Fenner has looked after my cats and dogs and, when it was time to say goodbye to any of them, he was caring and compassionate. I could see that he cared and was as tied into the experience as we were. I believe that they could show a little compassion for senior citizens on fixed incomes and provide senior discounts. We have four animals and it gets quite expensive to keep up with their exams and vaccinations. Dr. Fenner provided a month of pet insurance as part of the new puppy exam package which certainly came in handy when, after 4 days in our care he was diagnosed with Parvo and had to be hospitalized. The total was over $1400 and we only paid $200 out of pocket. Thank you Dr. Fenner. All in all, I give Dr. Fenner and his staff an A+ for their caring and professional care.

The visit went very well. Everyone at the clinic was very good with our dog. The nurse called the day after the visit to follow up on how Neon was doing. We had a followup visit two weeks later with Dr. Fenner. Bernardo Heights Veterinary Clinic has been taking care of our animals for 10 years. They are always professional and caring.

They have a great staff. Dr Paul Fenner is a great diagnostician. They feel like they are part of the family. I think they are really great.

These are some of the best veterinarians in this area. They are really concerned with the well being of the pets. They've been in business for over ten years and their customer service team is an elite team who many other companies can't even come close to. Although they may be somewhat expensive, I love the service they give to my animals.
