It went very well.  Philip was punctual, professional, conversational, and very open and receptive to answer questions/concerns from my husband and I.
We chose him from the referrals on this site and he certainly delivered.
He took his time and had tremedous attention to detail.  He was willing to climb and explore a couple of attic spaces (that I believe many wouldn't)
He came up with legitimate areas of concern that a prior home inspector did not.
Overall, Philip was terrific and I would definitely hire him again and/or recommend him highly!!

We are overseas buyers so we flew to the US for 2 days specifically for the inspection and to check out the house, so a lot was riding on it. If the inspection did not go well, we would not have bought the house. We found Phil by checking the Better Business Bureau. We double confirmed that he'd be there before we headed on our flight. Because we had so little time there, our realtor had arranged contractors, an architect and finally the listing agent coming in and out of the house. The whole time we were focusing on what Phil had to say but also getting pulled away to talk to these other people. When Phil was done with the inspection he gave us his verbal assessment in front of our realtor and the listing agent so all of us could hear what he had to say. Our realtor asked us where we found this guy because she had never seen such a thorough inspection before. By the next day the report was ready with photos and description of the various aspects of the house, which we had authorized Phil to send to our realtor as well. After we reviewed the report, we felt confident enough in our decision about the house and went ahead with it that day. Phil also told us we can ask him any follow-up questions if we had any. Thank you Phil! Highly recommend his service. Phil was totally professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and efficient.
