The work got done, but it took a long time and several phone calls. They didn't always show up when they said they would and didn't communicate well. They put down an inch of asphalt and put sand on top of it so I could drive on it. They did not give me any information about what was to happen next. After I didn't hear anything for a week and my call went unanswered, I started sweeping away the sand. They finally called me back and said the sand was supposed to stay there for two weeks. Part of the job was to built up the curbing along the driveway to a height of 6-8 inches so cars don't go off the edge of the driveway into a ditch. Some of the curbing was only 3 inches, so I had to call again and have them come out and do it right. They came promptly and fixed it to my satisfaction.
