For the refrigerator to fit thru the exit door of the house, the refrigerator door needed to be removed. The moving company was not able to perform that task.

This is a family business that has been moving people for a long time. The owners are completely hands-on and pay total attention to every detail. Moving is tough, but Jeff and Terry take the actual 'moving' part of it out of the equation. We were packed and ready to be moved about 15 minutes away from our original residence (big house full) 11 hours, 4 very hard working men and two trips without incident. Such care! Thank you for such a delightful experience.

They were great, very careful and considerate. They went above and beyond. I have used them several times before and don't know what I would do without them.

Overall it went very well. I did not want to get into the overtime range on charges. They were very respectful of that, and worked with me to be sure that they finished on time. We did not finish moving everything in the garage, because we ran out of time, and because I did not have items in the garage packed. So we did not finish the job in the garage because of me, not because of them. I asked them to help me finish on time, rather than finish the garage, and they did as I asked, so i was very p[eased about that and very satisfied with the amount of work that they did get done. The supervisor and all of the movers were friendly and careful. they did a good job of disassembling beds and putting them back together. Some beds were not regular in style. A more complicated IKEA pull-out bed. I rated them excellent on everything but quality. I dropped them down one notch there, as they had a relative rookie on the crew. Right in front of me he had the misfortune of dropping the side of the big screen TV that he was carrying onto the TV stand from a distance of perhaps 6 inches up. maybe less But us guys are very particular about our big screen TV's, and this was not appreciated. On the other hand, the TV seems to operate fine, and there was no physical damage to it. Perhaps it was only dropped from 3 inches up, I am not sure. And the look of disapproval he received from his coworkers made it clear to me that this was not acceptable to them either. I doubt that one would have anything bad happen when using them. The rest of our stuff came thru fine. And the TV actually came thru fine also, but it did give me a liitle concern at the time. i would recommend them highly. I have only used movers a couple of times, but this was the best experience with movers that i have had.

They were amazing! They are so careful with your stuff. I completely trusted them with antique paintings and mirrors. They wrapped these for me themselves. They are prompt, extremely courteous and kind. They go above the call of duty. I will never use anyone else! Their prices are reasonable and they do offer senior discounts too. I would give them an A+ across the board if this was an option on Angie's List.

Jeff and Terri have moved me more than once and just this year, I referred 5 different friends and family members to them and they have all been more than pleased! They are wonderful - you never feel you're getting ripped off either. They are fast and efficient and extremely professional. I heard there is another company using their name and if you ask for Jeff or Teri they'll say they are no longer there - don't use them. Here's the right company. I honestly couldn't recommend a company stronger. The move before my most recent one they were not available and I had to move on a specific day and the guys were not nearly as professional and tried to charge me more than they said "off the record" - it was very sleezy and I was not happy. I'll always make sure I can use Affordable Movers when I move again.

My mom recommended them to me. They are unbelievably helpful, and they know how to handle delicate things as well. I have used them twice, and I would highly recommend them. They are busy so you have to reserve them ahead of time.
