Their service was just fine. We had a contract with them and when it was going to expire, we called them and tried to negotiate a lower price and they had no better deal to offer us. So we dropped them. The service was perfectly fine, but it was a lot of money for a passive service, where they basically did nothing but wait for an alarm to go off. During that time, it never happened. Then I called other companies and found out that nobody else is cheaper than that, so we no longer have an alarm service. We're waiting for somebody to come and offer a better deal. But our experience with them was just fine. The only problem I had with them was price. It was expensive for what we got.

deputyContractor installs the equipment, routinely discovers that any existing security equipment, including previously installed ADT equipment is no longer adequate, agrees to upgrade it for a fee, and gets the customer up and sort of running.  Calls to ADT put the customer into the most incredibly complex and unresponsive phone maze imaginable and seldom result in contacting someone with actual answers in less than 20-30 minutes.
We accidentally pushed the 'panic' button on one of the fobs early in our contract and never received a confirmation call from ADT and it was more than 30 minutes before the Sheriff's deputies knocked on our door to check on our safety.  ADT wants their $45 a month and could not care less whether the customer get value for their money.
As soon as our contract is up, we will be switching to a different service, hopefully finding someone professional who provides more than nifty yard signs.

We are satisfied with their service. They were very professional in helping assess what we needed and setting it up. The system has been easy to use. It’s a reasonable price for what we signed up for. I think that it’s a good price for what they are doing. We fortunately haven't seen how responsive they are in the event of an emergency. They are very punctual. I recommend them.

Actually they were awesome because we had some issues when they first installed. We had a break in of course before but they came out and with no problem right away and fixed the issue that we had. Sometimes when I walk in the house and forget that we have the alarm they call right away. They are pretty much on top of it. There were two guys that came to install it and they were really great.

I pay $45 a month and it keeps going up.  I chose them because my neighbor had it and they seemed happy with it.  It also has a fire alarm service.  They are very prompt, when the alarm goes off.  It is usually a false alarm so I am glad they call me first instead of dispatching the police.  The system works fine.

I am happy with their service and have no complaints about them.  If anything goes wrong they will call me immediately make sure everything is ok.  Overall it has been a really good experience with them.  I would use them again in the future.

I actually canceled the service with ADT; as a matter of fact, I have to call them today to make sure it was canceled.  The only reason I canceled with them was that I switched my phone to a different model and their service does not connect with it; it is not compatible.  They were good as far as monitoring and the installation was put in for really no cost and all the cost was applied to the monthly payments.  They are a good service.  There are probably other services out there that are comparable.  The only thing I didn’t like about them is their cancellation.  When the time comes to cancel, one has to wait thirty days for the cancellation to take effect.  So they are actually going to bill me for another month.  I don’t want that service; that is the only thing I didn’t like about them but as far as monitoring and them being effective and efficient, they were fine.  They were very professional.  They were good about that.

They act promptly when there is an alarm. Their service is consistent. I had some trouble getting the alarm installed and getting it squared away. Once they got it set up, the service is seamless. I don't even know it's there.

We have been using ADT Security Services, for 3 years now. If anything goes wrong they are there, if you have a problem all you have to do is push a button and they answer you, my wife is handicap and it is good for her too. I had them at my old house and here they offered me a better price for the more services.

During the installation one of the installers drilled through and ruptured a water line. Brinks was good about the initial response. They immediately hired a plumber and sent out a manager and another employee to finish the installation. Unfortunately, the plumber had to tear apart a wall to get to the pipe. At this point everyone agreed that Brinks was responsible to fix the wall, tear out and rebuild stairs that were in the way of the repair and paint to match. The subsequent customer service, contractor coordination, timing and quality of work by Brinks was horrible. The Brinks employee responsible for managing the repairs acted like he could have cared less and as if he was doing me a favor. He missed appointments, barely responded effectively to any concern of mine and tried to do the absolute minimum and get away with it. Overall I'm happy with the security system and with Brinks (now Broadview) national customer service but I wouldn't let the local people into my home again. If you get a Brinks security system, hope for a problem-free installation!

The first sales rep arrived an hour early, when I was not home and left a note asking to reschedule. When I called him from his note on his business card, he said he had a another meeting with a customer 10 miles away, which was three hours in the future. He directly said that he would not come back to the prescribed meeting time because he was too busy. I took a half day off of work to meet with the sales rep and he decides to change the prescribed meeting time at the last minute without prior notification. I called the Escondido office and asked to speak with the GM, but they took a message. I followed-up with a complaint to their HQ in Texas and I wrote a complaint to the BBB in Texas. I received a call from the GM at the Escondido office two days later. He scheduled another appointment with me and met with me personally. He was very nice, but I had such mistrust for his company after that first meeting mishap, I chose not to go with them. I did receive a call from a person at the Brink's HQ in Texas also apologizing for the changing of meeting time to fit his sales rep needs and not my needs as a customer of which me taking the half day off of work to meet with them.

I feel very secure with Brinks monitoring my home and their price is great. When they came out to install the equipment the installers were very kind and polite and they acted in a very professional manner.

We didn't feel comfortable using a local company so we chose Brinks. The local rep came out as scheduled. They customized our system to our needs. He was very knowledgeable. The installation was done a couple of days after our call to them.
