Property Appraisal
PAYMENT WAS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF THE APPRAISAL. THE APPRAISER WAS INFORMED BEFORE HAND THAT THE PROPERTY WAS STILL UNDERGOING AN EXTENSIVE RE-MODEL AND WAS ASKED TO CONTACT THE MORTGAGE BROKER IF HE FORESAW ANY PROBLEMS. WE WERE INFORMED THE FOLLOWING WEEK THAT THEY COULD NOT APPRAISE THE PROPERTY BECAUSE OF THE CONSTRUCTION. HOWEVER, THEY NOT ONLY CASHED THE $350 CHECK, BUT THEY WOULD ONLY REFUND $250, KEEPING $100 FOR "ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS".
