Extremely disappointed with Robert Fischer's lack of professionalism and price gouging. I called to have someone check to see if I had a slab leak. Their dispatcher did not mention a cost associated with having them check for a leak. I assumed that after they checked the house, they would charge me based on any work to be done, but not for the review itself. They came to the house, did a visual inspection for 30 minutes, and did not touch any plumbing. It came as a surprise to me when a few days later I received an invoice for $375. There are so many plumbers in the area, ask yourself why you would waste your time with people who price gouge their customers, especially someone who was actually planning to do a much bigger scope of plumbing work. If you do need to work with Robert Fischer, absolutely make sure to get any costs from them in writing before they step on your property.

Very smoothly, I had a list of items to check he checked and corrected all of them. 1 at no charge.

This was the first time that I used them. The guy was efficient, but it was too expensive. The job took less than two hours. I haven't had any issues since the service was provided. Everything was fine, except the price.

They located the leak and recommended a restoration company for floor repairs. The faucet leak was strange in that it showed up in the cabinet, under the sink. But was actually caused by a problem inside the spigot by the fit of the aerator. They quickly found the problem and fixed it. I have previously used them several times and always been happy with the work and the price. Even more important to me is that they are honest and never come up with repairs I don't need!!

This is a review of a POOR experience with Robert Fischer Plumbing Inc.
We hired Robert Fischer Plumbing Inc. to provide a sewer location for a tie in for a newly added bathroom. The information provided was incorrect in both location and depth resulting in a wasted labor cost for $890. The actual location of the sewer line was a full 5 feet off and too deep (10 - 11 ft) to safely tie in without extensive cost for further shoring of the trench/hole.
Had the location been done accurately, we could have easily tied in much further up the driveway with only a 3ft hole.
When I tried to discuss compensation for the wasted labor, Robert said that he would refund the original cost for the location and $200 for laborers. That was too large of a gap, we have lost time in our project and will now be left with multiple patches in our driveway because of this error.
Due to this inflexibility, in what was clearly his error, we will be filing a formal complaint with the CSLB and pursuing full compensation.

It isn't often that we have reason to discuss having a positive experience with a trades person, but we want to highlight the excellent job done by Robert Fischer and his son of Robert of Fischer Plumbing, Inc. We contacted them to install a new water heater, and found their service to be prompt, professional and of the highest quality. Whenever we called, Mr. Fischer always called back promptly. The work was done efficiently and passed inspection by the local building department, with no problems.

He came out within one hour of our call for help; he fixed the problem efficiently and quickly -- he was awesome! We were able to call the gas company the same day and request service be turned back on! Thank you Robert Fischer and Robbie Fischer!
