 + -1 moreI eventually went to another Angie's List contractor and got the job completed.
Description of Work: I emailed Matt Dutton about some squeaky floors in my upstairs bedroom. It was a fairly simple job that would require him to remove some carpet and secure the wooden flooring. He said he did this kind of work and would have to come out to the house and price it, which is very reasonable. We set up a time and I rearranged my schedule to be there. About an hour and a half before he was to arrive, he called and said he was sick and would have to reschedule. I have never heard from him again. This is the kind of flakiness you fear in this profession.

 + 1 moreThey have been consistently punctual and professional, polite and friendly. They listened closely to what I wanted and gave me design options when I asked for help in making decisions. Their prices were fair and reasonable and I feel that I got an excellent value for my money. The quality of the workmanship has been excellent. I do not hesitate to recommend them to others.
Description of Work: They have done a variety of large and small tasks for me over the last year, including bamboo floor installation, stone tile floor installation, and bathroom and bedroom remodeling.

 + -1 moreThey did excellent work and we were very satisfied. They were always here when they said they would be and the job was completed in a timely manner. They were professional and skilled. I really can not say what the price was, but it was a fair price and very reasonable for the job.
Description of Work: Dutton Construction built a breakfast room onto the kitchen in our house. They also added a second story addition that we use as a family room. I really do not remember what the square footage was of the addition.

Description of Work: They installed custom built-in cabinets, custom crown molding, baseboards, drywall and mirrors.
