I received an e-mail from them yesterday. The neighbors are finally ready to replace their fence which is falling down. So they have an appointment on the 29th for having their fence replaced. It?s the most expensive type of fence that I have got installed, but it lasts over 30 years. It?s a wood composite fence and it is much more expensive than a cedar fence. It was 63 feet of fencing with one gate. It?s good for me since I am not the type of person who goes out and maintains the fence. I was extremely impressed by how responsive they were. Marvin Morrison is the owner. He came out personally and gave me the estimate. He listened to my concerns. I had questions about various materials. He looked at what I was asking for and then told me whether or not it would work in our situation. He and his crew showed up everyday. If they said they would be here at 8 a.m., then they would be here at 8 a.m. on dot. There was one issue wherein the supplier had failed to send two important clips that he needed. So he called me when he realized that there was a problem. He said that he would buy it that afternoon. He then came by at 4 p.m. when most of the contractors leave for the day. He then told me that he had to drive to Sacramento to buy the parts in order to fix my fence on the same day. He stayed and worked till evening. There were other people who had worked for me in the past, but they used to leave by 4 p.m. We started calling him in July and he is doing the work for us in the end of September because he is busy. I think it?s a great sign for a fencing and deck person to be busy during this economy. His service is really his product since he is the best and I really like him. His bid was the least expensive one compared to the other people from whom I received bids. He has been very responsive and he has never been late. It has never happened that he was caught up with something else. I am happy to wait for him to come back and do the work for me just because I know that I can trust him.
