OK LUMBER

I was happy with the way I've been treated by staff at OK Lumber. (I've been there a lot in the last couple of months.) Even though they're accustomed to working with contractors and big orders, they've still been great at helping me. They delivered our order for free, despite it being under the minimum. Their prices are sometimes a bit higher than the big boxes, but I'm willing to pay more for the extra service. I will definitely go back and shop with them often.

Good set of helpful people manage this shop. It is literally across the street from a big box lumber yard, and yet it thrives. I think this is a testament to their better knowledge, better products and better customer service. This is not the cheapest lumber yard around. So if you are buying all of your lumber for an addition, I'd shop around. But for me they are very convenient and have a decent selection. On more than one instance, I've only needed a few fasteners and they gave them to me free of charge. They work best when you are there in-person. They have an email on their web site and I'm not sure anyone ever checks this (I have never got a response).
