The closet doors weren't put on correctly afterwards.  They had to come back out to adjust them, and did the best that they could.  The workmanship was fine.

Greg at Master Mart was very responsive. We needed work done in a hurry and he was able to make it happen. The job was professionally done and all went well.

The process was smooth from start to finish. Master Mart responded quickly on Angie's List to my quote request. The owner, Greg Wellman, came to our location to measure and evaluate, then emailed me a quote. He came by a second time with six sample books. And once we'd chosen a carpet, they gave me dates for the installation. The week before the installation, Master Mart's office manager called to delay the start date by one day--I much appreciated the advance notice. And the estimate for the length of the job was two days, but they got the whole thing done in one day! And the two installers who came were very professional and easy to work with. I was thoroughly pleased with Master Mart, and would use them again, as well as recommend them to other people. Oh, and their price was significantly cheaper than the other quote we got, and the carpet samples they brought were of higher quality.

Overall the project went smoothly. The guys worked hard and cleaned up after themselves. They were outstanding.
They had also done previous work for us (carpet installation in 1 room and staircase). I highly recommend them.

Overall I had a very good experience with Master Mart. I needed old carpet removed and new carpet installed in a built in office and 4 short flights of stairs with a landing in my townhouse. I worked with Jerry, who came over to measure. Jerry was very responsive and helpful. Then I went to the store where Joe and Jerry helped me pick out carpet on two occasions. Color matching was very important to me and Master Mart has a huge selection. I brought home six different carpet boards full of colors I thought might work, 3 Shaw and 3 Fabrica. Master Mart didn't charge a deposit for the samples like Lowe's does, even though it took me awhile to select a color. Even before I had decided on the carpet and color I wanted, Jerry had the six estimates ready to help me make my decision. The estimates ranged from $1550 for the low end Shaw ($200 cheaper than Lowes, which was the only other estimate I got) to $5000 for the high end Fabrica. I liked the Fabrica Denali carpet and color the best for $2350 so we finalized the deal; Master Mart requires 60% down, and paying with credit card costs 5% extra so I paid with a check. That was December 5th. Obviously I'm glad I didn't fall in love with the high end Fabrica carpet.
I asked Jerry if it would be possible to get installation done before Christmas and he said couldn't promise but he would try, depending on when he received the carpet from the manufacturer. He managed to get me a slot on December 18th so I was very happy about that. Julio and Fernando showed up on time and worked their butts off for two days installing the carpet. Fernando doesn't speak English so Julio was the spokesman and both were very nice and easy to work with.
The new carpet installation is different from what was replaced in that Julio and Fernando cut a separate piece of carpet for each stair rather than using one long piece for each flight of stairs. This resulted in a much tighter fitting, sleeker and more contemporary looking installation than I had before, and I like it much better. The only downside here is that I need to do some touch up painting on the walls adjacent to two of the flights where the carpet fits the stair tighter than before. I also needed to do significant touching up of my stair railings, probably unavoidable given the tight space and custom fitting that had to be done.
We were left with a very dusty house after the installation. Again this was probably unavoidable due to the recarpeted stairs being open to the rest of our very open floor plan. Unfortunately due to the dust and the very noticeable outgassing of the new nylon carpet for about a week, my husband, who has severe allergy and asthma problems, really suffered during that time. If I had it to do over again I would avoid scheduling carpet installation for winter when it's too cold to open up the house, or find a place for my husband to stay. I only say this to help others with asthma problems as it was not Master Mart's fault.
Recarpeting our stairs was very labor intensive so the job took two days. Overall I am thrilled with the new carpet and with Master Mart's sales and service. Would definitely use their services again and recommend them to others. Jerry, Joe, Julio and Fernando were a pleasure to work with and Jerry even called and wrote a thank you note to thank me for my business and tell me he enjoyed working with me. Now that I've done all that color matching, I'm planning to ask them to quote me a price for an area rug for my living room.

Master Mart was terrific to work with. I called to get an estimate scheduled and met with Greg two days later. He arrived on time and brought multiple carpet samples with him. He helped us decide on a carpet type and sent me the price quote the same day. The price for 3 rooms of carpet was very reasonable. They were able to schedule the carpet installation quickly. Two men from Master Mart installed the carpet and it looks fantastic! I highly recommend Master Mart!

Outstanding. Greg came over to estimate the job and discuss. He made some excellent suggestions on color, weave, etc. and reviewed how it would work, how long it would take and gave us instructions as to the part we played in it. He was right when he said its possibly more work for us than them. Every small thing on any piece of floor had to be moved, and it definitely made it more efficient for the guys. If you have an area they can work in that is also a plus-they have a very large saw and the closer they can be to the work area, the better. Of course my 4 flights of stairs didn't make the job easier for them, but they did a great job on them and the rest of the carpeted areas. Seams are challenging to find. The cork is terrific. The room already seems to be cooler (no AC here) and it used to be a sauna on hot days. We are encouraged. Easy to clean, and at almost 1/3 of the whole cost appears to be well worth it. Julio and Fernando were professional, courteous, and very efficient. Joe, at the shop, is a pleasure to work with as well.

We had the option to move our own furniture out of the bedrooms and this helped to reduce the amount of time the installation took. The 3-person crew arrived on time and were very careful in removing the old carpet to minimize collected dust on the fibers and padding. They swept all floor areas and checked carefully for the condition of the old tack strips, floor condition and corners. They found one room to have an uneven area where a prior closet used to exist. This created a 1and quot; difference from the rest of the floor. Rather than delaying the project, they immediately gave me options on how they could remedy the problem and once I decided what I wanted, they went directly to Home Depot to buy plywood to fill in the floor gap. They travel to job sites with additional tools in case they need to customize a flooring installation they can do it on the spot. It added an hour to the installation but they finished the same day and everything looked great. They even measured and cut out a section of carpeting for a closet that had a heavy item we could not move with a specialized lift so that it could be installed by the buyer of our home. The installers were very polite, they swept the driveway where they cut the plywood and carried away all debris.

The carpet looks fantastic, feels great to walk on and added a valuable selling feature for when we put our house on the market.

They were terrific at every level! Jerry worked promptly and efficiently with me to identify the carpeting I wanted and then quoted me a price that was much lower than other stores. Rather than having a single team do everything, first one crew installed the hardwood flooring and then a different crew installed the carpeting. Each was expert at knowing how and what to do for their particular installation.....so much better than having workmen who are 'jack of all trades' install everything! Both crews were fast, clean and careful. Furniture was moved, flooring installed and then furniture was put back in place....carefully and neatly! I can't say enough good things about the whole process. I would definitely use these people again.

They came when they said they would come. They measured dutifully, installed the carpeting in a day and cleaned everything up. I was extremely happy. The price seemed good to me.

These guys did a great job from start to finish. They were able to come same-day to quote, and the estimate was a full $1000 less than another highly-rated competitor in the area. I was slightly concerned that something would suffer at such a competitive price. but it didn't - the installers were very professional and the carpet was installed very well (edges, trim work around stairs, etc. was perfect!). I would highly recommend this company.

We're super happy with our cork floors, installed by Master Mart. I provided Jerry with a design, and he worked with us to make it a reality. The crew on the site worked really well together. Ramone was the foreman. He was sharp. He would think through the details, get the other two workmen started on installation, and once they were doing the right thing Ramone would move on to the more complicated details of the job. He even fixed one poorly thought out door frame (originally done by another contractor) to look much better. I think it's really important to have a foreman whom you trust on the job site for most of the duration, since tons of little decisions come up throughout a work day. We're very happy with the installation, and would recommend them even to people doing fairly complex jobs like ours.

They were easy to deal with and upfront. The selection of carpets is good; they have everything you can think of. The pricing was competitive.
