A few weeks back, my printer started having issues with smudging. The owner told me, you have problems with the rollers and you need a new cartridge. I asked, how much is the cartridge? He said a new one is $60. Knowing that $60 is a decent price for a cartridge I gave him the go-ahead. When I arrived to pick up the printer I pulled out the cartridge to take a peek. I quickly noticed that is was a third party cartridge that had been refilled. When confronted with this, the owner became very defensive and claimed that he never said he was going to give me a new cartridge. His cost to refill cartridges is under $20. That's quite a margin. The other issue is that I don't really think there was anything wrong with the printer. All it needed was a new cartridge. I have no proof of this however. If he had originally told me that the cartridge was going to be a refilled third party product instead of new, I would have said no thanks. This place is a rip-off.
