Excellent! It took two different crews within the company to repair and then restore the damage but the results are spectacular!

It took five days of work for the Halpin crew, but the work was all done to my satisfaction and at a reasonable price. I am very pleased with the whole experience.

We needed an open hallway closed off, a door framed out and hung, and to have everything refinished to match the original. Plus, we needed to have a light switch moved to the other side of the doorway. It wasn't a huge job, but it had a number of parts to coordinate, and to be honest, we were having trouble finding someone to do it - it seemed like this job was too big for a handyman but too small for a lot of contractors. Peter was great from the beginning, though. He had great suggestions about what we should think about when planning the job. Peter and his workers were timely, tidy, and did great work. The new door looks great, and everything with Peter went really smoothly.

With every project things happen. I evaluate contractors based on their response to such issues and willingness to make it right--and Peter and his crew always rose above. And let's be clear, nothing was a big deal either but Peter's workers never pushed back and just made us happy. Peter is extremely responsive via text or email so there was never a question unanswered. His crews were respectful of our space and kept it extremely tidy, which is hard with demo and dry wall dust. There were no surprises when it came to pricing either. I've already referred Halpin Construction to friends and all my neighbors and I'll never look elsewhere for GC services.

Overall it was almost flawless. Peter and his crews did a great job and were responsive to any questions, concerns, or changes along the way. Much smoother than I thought it would be to do an addition. I would highly recommend Halpin Construction.

Our bathroom remodel went better then we ever expected. Pete was responsive, thorough and pleasant to work with. He was attentive to all of our design choices and offered helpful advice when we needed it. The whole team was professional, clean and their work turned out beautifully. They worked efficiently and according to the estimate. The quality of their work and customer service was exceptional.

Halpin Construction did a great job renovating our condo in SF. Peter and his associates were highly responsive w great communication, punctual and responsible, which was important because we were coordinating this renovation remotely. They removed and installed new hardwood flooring and did a great job with all other repairs. We would definitely hire them again!

Halpin Construction came in and solved my problem. I find the work they do is done very well. Their men are very professional and they are thoughtful about how to find a solution. They clean up well from one day to the next. They replaced about ten windows for me. They repaired a leak in a balcony over my kitchen. After the work was done the outside of the house was painted. They installed bamboo flooring and painted my sewing room. I am still finding things to be done and I will definitely ask them to do it. Peter Halpin is easy for me to reach and always responds to my questions.

Very well ... damage assessment, debris removal, coordination with insurance and rebuilding of fences to the original Victoria design in redwood was all handled promptly and to our complete satisfaction ... the entire staff and crew of Britannia were very responsive to our needs and highly skilled in their craftsmanship ... we are extremely pleased with their work for us.

Fortunately the duct/insulation damage was covered by my AAA home insurance and they assigned the necessary repair work to Brittania Construction. Tom Halpin, the company's Owner and Manager, immediately called to set an appointment to meet with me to assess/estimate the damage, Tom was very courteous, professional and clearly a experienced contractor as he informed me of the damage and what the repair would entail and estimated repair time while taking pictures and measurements, Because of the very narrow crawl space a section of my hallway hardwood floor had to be opened up, Repair work (Duct/Floor) proceeded as scheduled and the job was completed flawlessly, with the least inconvenience to us (they accommodated our schedule) and most importantly on schedule. Being a Realtor, I often need the services of a General Contractor for clients' homes and I definitely plan to use Brittania.

Repairs were intentionally delayed until summer to avoid additional water damage when repairing the damaged (but tarped) roof. Once started, repairs advanced in a timely fashion, with workers arriving as scheduled. Every Britannia worker on this job was highly skilled, meticulous, and motivated to do a good job. They also were pleasant, cooperative, and good communicators. I'm more than satisfied with the result and would recommend Britannia for any house restoration or remodeling work.

We were very pleased with the end results and would hire this company again. At lease four different trades were involved in our repairs without our having to subcontract any of the jobs out as Britannia was willing and able to handle all the different types of work required to complete the repairs needed. Actually, my father in-law used this company about 10 years ago and we remembered how good a job they had done for him at the time and were very pleased to find they were still in business and available to work for us.

Britania was recommended by our insurance company and we couldn't be happier with them. Tom Halpin helped us though the whole process making it easier for us. Everyone that came out couldn't have been nicer, more professional and did outstanding work. Love the work they did in my kitchen and must add they stayed in better contact with me than my insurance company. I have recommended them to my entire neighborhood and will diffidently use when we need additional work done.

It went great! Everyone working on the project was responsive, efficient, very competent, and terrific to work with. Britannia was super at working with my architect, vendors, and the city planning department.

Work on both jobs was excellent. Brittania is very responsive and their workers are top notch.
