Busy company, had to wait a couple of weeks before work could be performed. Truck breakdown on day of service. Work started a couple of hours later than scheduled. Spray tech Kevin was fine, explained process, took care of our property, would use again.

It went well with a great result. The gentleman who performed the work took extra time to patch chipped spots and see that the result would be smooth and well blended. End result was a very good job and a new looking tub.

They did a nice job.

Very professional from start to finish.  The job took two days; one day to strip the old finish and apply new finish (really just one morning); then they came back the next day to remove masking and clean up.  We were worried about paying what seemed like a lot of money to refinish the tub when the previous refinish job (by the previous tenant -- a DIY job) had disintegrated so quickly.  However the new refinish job was beautiful, and now it is almost two years later and it still looks perfect.  We even have occasionally dropped tools or other items in the tub, but nothing has chipped the finish so far.  Very easy to keep clean, and we highly recommend the slip-resistant finish which makes showering safe and secure without any need for a tub mat (which they said is really bad for any refinishing job).

I had bathtub and bathroom sink that were installed 50 years ago, and you could see the age in all cracks and stains. Didn't have money for the bathroom renovation, so I decided to refresh it. I contacted Mr Bathtub company, they gave me estimation over the phone and explained the process. I liked the price, and I made an appointment with them. The contractor came in time, was very patient and careful about our apartment. First part of the project took about 3 hours, then he left. Next day he came again and finished the job in about 1-1.5 hours. Results are great! Bathtub and the sink look brand new.  Tenants love it. I will definitely call Mr Bathtub if I need to restore any other tubs, sinks, or countertops.

The refinished the bathtub and the surround is this old light blue tile from 1940 and we has had some hardware that had been placed in there by the previous owners that we have had removed so there were these big white marks and they were kind of obvious and they were actually able to fill those marks and somewhat closely match the tiles. They had to specially create a color so there was some kind of creativity involved in that. The caulking on the bathtub, I'm noticing that it looks like it's not totally right.

- Communication was responsive. Callbacks took place within 24 hours and often under 12 hours.
- Provider arrived 30 minutes after specified arrival window. We were contacted only after we called to inquire about the delay.
- Refinishing was surprisingly fast. Most of the time was spent taping-up the surfaces that were NOT to be painted. However, I noticed that the bathtub walls and bathroom walls were taped-up only halfway. The assumption is that any overspray would not extend that far but they still taped-up the fixed chrome shower-rod.
- Provider returned the following morning to buff and clean-up. There were some finish imperfections so a touch-up was needed. The provider advised us that they would return if we requested for a second buffing.
- The earliest rebuffing that we could schedule was for the following week. The rebuffing was more of a wet-sanding.
- The quality of the work is okay. My spouse is disappointed that the finish isn't glossy like a new tub and that some portions of the surface still do not feel smooth.
- We found overspray on the tiles and sections of the bathroom walls that were not covered-up. I could feel a lot of tiny specks when I ran my fingers over the tiles. I have had to clean the tiles with a blade. The walls are not that much of an issue since they are white. I wish though that they had taped-up all of the tiles.
- We are supposed to have a 5-year written guarantee for this work so we will see how it lasts using their cleaning and maintenance instructions. They did provide some good advice on how to clean and maintain the surface (Simple Green).
- Am ambivalent as to whether I would recommend their services to a friend. Much will depend on how well the finish holds-up. At this level of workmanship, I would probably use their services just for staging a home for sale.

Mike, the technician, arrived on time, called before to let me know he was on the way. Did a great job refinishing, came back the next day to polish and buff. The next day I noticed a little crack in between some tiles along with a few little pin holes that needed to be fixed and he came back and took care of it promptly. It looks great and I would use them again! Great customer service from the first phone call. Nice people to deal with.
