Sonny Vuong, came into our lives as a referred Handyman. He is very knowledgeable in his craft. Sonny has completed a leak in our pipe in the ceiling, repaired ceiling with the same texture, repainted and finished the job within 2 days. We were 100% satisfied with his work. We decided to hire Sunny again for our deck. Our deck is the entire length of the backside of our house. He replace our deck within 3 days. He stayed on the job until it was completed. Sonny came into our family’s life as a Godsend... he has been working with us for years on a huge variety of projects from room painting to linoleum tile laying to fixing challenging faucets and drains in our home built in 1950. Not only is his work priced very reasonably but he really has worked with me to help during challenging times. I recommend him most highly!

Project 1) Very prompt. He did everything he said he would do. Great communication. Did a great job. Thank you ! Project 2) The work he did on my roof made it look brand new. Sonny is very easy to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone that needed home repair. Project 3) Sonny seems to be able to fix and repair anything. He is proud, great worker, and a real friendly guy that can complete any task you give him. Project 4) After completing the repair work on my roof (it looks great) I hired General Repair Handyman Sonny Vuong to remove some old bathroom tile, and add on another 8' of tile to complete the whole bathroom area. Like always Sonny did an excellent. The new floor looks fantastic. This monday he will be installing our new vanity!! If your in need of any type of work, I highly recommend General Repair(Sonny Vuong) Project 5) Sonny just finished installing our new vanity, and he did a beautiful job!!! He started out by removing our old tile and laying down new tile an additional 8'. With the new vanity the master bathroom is better than it's ever been. Sonny is amazing at every job he's done for us. I recommend him 100% for any job you need done!!! He's now starting our next job, a vinyl lattice work 4' fence in the front yard!! Project 6) General Repair (Sonny Vuong) rebuilt our front shutters and replaced the wood frame on our garage door. He did an excellent job and I highly recommend him!!! Project 7) Sonny is very consciencious and does an excellent job. I have used him before and this job was a 5 star job, as well. I highly recommend. Project 8) The fence that Sonny put up on the 26th of May was great, he did a fantastic job!I Even the neighbors were asking me who did it because they want to hire him as well. Project 9) I had Sonny repair my hard wood floors. It was a big repair job. He replaced some base boards and the floor looks brand new. He did a beautiful job.

Sonny is very helpful. He can do just about anything. He put doors, moldings, carpentry work, window blinds, fixed my central air vents etc. I really think he is one of the best men that has worked for me. I recommend Sonny.

Sonny was very nice when I met him, he said he could fix the roof that was leaking, which we thought e did, the next rain came and was leaking more, he tried to fix it again, the next rain came and the roof was worse than it ever was, this is when he got defensive saying he will fix it if I buy more product, I told him what he was using wasn't fixing the roof he then got angry and told me he would give me a refund which I agreed to, I have text him 3 times no, refund no answers to e mails, I trusted him to do the job that he said he could do and all I got was a hot mess, thank you Sonny, I also told him I was writing this if he didn't contact me, I guess he doesn't care. I have a roof that leaks and no refund, to be fair he did install door knob which is fine and boarded up a garage door for me which is also fine.

Sonny cleaned our very long dryer duct which was very clogged. He showed up on time and did a great job.

Sonny did great work in putting together a wooden swing set we purchased for our daughter. His communication was excellent and he even did some of the work in the rain! He has a great work ethic and his pricing is more than fair.

Sonny was very efficient and affordable in repairing our fence, while he was here we also hired him to repair some leaks in our sprinkler valves which he completed. Sonny was very professional and courteous, he went above and beyond to ensure that projects were completed and working properly, he saved me a considerable amount of money over what other contractors had quoted for the same job. He warranties and stands behind his work. I will definitely be hiring Sonny again for any project I need done on my property.

Sonny is absolutely amazing. He is affordable, prompt and attentive to detail. He also has a great sense of humor. I hired Sonny for a variety of different projects and he handled each one masterfully. He goes above and beyond by making the homeowner aware of ways to do projects better and doesn't increase the agreed upon price to do it well. Sonny was helpful in helping me to pick up items for projects and installing them.

I count my lucky stars for the day recently when my family needed a Handyman and I came across the contact information for Sonny Vuong in San Bernardino. We'd had the gas company come by to turn off the pilots for summer, and when they checked the pilot on the water heater, we were informed that we needed to have a vent installed in the wooden door for the cabinet that housed the water heater, and until this was taken care of they had to, by ordinance, turn off our pilot and the gas to the heater. This was news to us, since the house was built in the 1940s and they come every year to turn on and off the pilots for us. I explained our situation to Sonny and he came by a little later that day, found us a vent that matched the others we had installed in the wooden doors in our hallway a year or two ago, and did gorgeous work matching the height of the other vents to keep the design flow of our home. Our house is a mid-century Modern style home with beautiful wooden doors and we were not excited about having to cut a square hole for a vent in one of these doors, but Sonny made the whole experience very pleasant and we love the way the vent turned out. He was very caring about the work he did but also was able to get the parts he needed from Home Depot and finish the job in a very easy amount of time, in order for us to get the gas turned back on the same day. We immediately enjoyed having him working on our home, and had him come shortly thereafter to work with us on several other jobs around our house. We had a Rainbird sprinkler that had worn out and needed replacing, and a large pineapple guava tree that was blocking the water spray from that sprinkler head, and needed to be trimmed way back. Sonny did both of these jobs brilliantly, trimming the tree back so the water spray flows very nicely while at the same time keeping enough of the tree to leave privacy between our yard and our neighbor's. He trimmed the tree so aesthetically, it looks like a painting! He also helped to break down a metal shelving unit in the yard to make the yard look even prettier. We have since hired him for additional work and are speaking with him currently about a very big renovation of a large room in the house, to create cabinets, bookshelves and dressers, paint the room, remove an old carpet and generally turn a room which has been being used for storage into a lovely functioning office. We always enjoy working with him. He does consistently considerate, beautiful work, charges very fair prices and had a lovely personality. A GREAT Experience and would hire again.

I needed a rotten mail post with 2-sided mailboxes replicated and installed to HOA's specifications. The job required carpentry work. Sonny completed the job quickly and on time. He took the extra effort by weatherizing with better waterproof materials and construction techniques. An overall improvement from original. This new mail post looks like it'll last for many years. Great job.

Sonny did a great job repairing my kitchen ceiling, he even painted the whole ceiling so the patched area blended with the rest of the ceiling. Sonny is very neat and polite. He cleaned the area and removed all the debris. I have asked him to return for another project. I highly recommend him.
