HACIENDA INSPECTION SVC

Michael was excellent - on time, very thorough, very professional and personable.   His follow-up report arrived within 24 hours of completing the survey and was excellent.
I needed a home inspection performed and I asked my real estate agent to book Michael, as I had seen a report he had provided for another home and I was very impressed.  On the day of the inspection, Michael arrived exactly when scheduled (9:00 AM) and explained to me everything he was going to do during the inspection.  He welcomed me following along with him (actually, he encouraged it) and patiently explained everything he was looking at and why the existing condition was good, bad or otherwise needed attention.  He took pictures of problems and included them in his follow-up report.  
He spent over two hours gathering data (it likely took a bit longer than usual as he had to continually retreat to the garage to enter data due to an early and very heavy rainfall the morning of the inspection). The follow-up report arrived via e-mail within 24 hours and was extremely detailed.  It provided a comprehensive overview of building structures and mechanical systems and, where applicable, called out areas of the house that were in need of repair or otherwise in sub-standard condition.  This was extremely helpful.  
I had a different inspection company provide an inspection/report on another home about 8 months before this and the difference between the two was night and day.  I am a first-time home buyer and Michael's thoroughness and excellent communication skills made me feel very informed about the home I was considering purchasing.
