.I originally purchased a wireless internet connector and had to sign a 2yr contract for service at $50./month. I also purchased a home connect phone service and had to sign a 2yr contract at 19.99/month. Both devices worked fine for 6 months then the wireless internet connector would not connect and the home connect started having so much static and even had busy signals and beeping noises that it was almost impossible to hear. I made numerous complaints and complained about the problems with both devices every time I called. The internet tech support would talk me through getting it started again which included putting a needle in a minute hole in the back of the device to restart it every time I went to use it. Verizon would not replace the device during the period  from July 2012 to Dec. 1 2012 then told me the devices were out of warrantee while still holding me to the 2 year contract. .I spoke to at least 12 different people, many of which promised to call me back and never did. Finally on Feb. 20, 2013 I spoke to a woman named Katrina that was a tier 2 tech support supervisor who told me they did not replace the devices because I did not complain enough! She agreed to send me a upgrade device for a cost of $49.99. The device was ordered on Feb. 21st but they did not send it when promised. I finally received it and it did not work.They sent another one and it also did not work. Then they said they would send a whole different model and to return all parts since they new device would use different parts. When the 3rd device arrived it had no SIM card. They finally agreed to let me pick it up at the closest store. They had previously refused to let me get anything at the store saying it must come by mail. Finally it works. I also finally got them to replace the home connect device. My phone calls are now clear despite them having said it must be my phone that was defective.
  I had no internet connection for over 2 weeks and spent a total of over 6 hours on the phone just in the last week to get this problem. 4 hours alone on Feb.27th.   
I learned you must make separate complaints every day to get them to do anything

Nothing stands out about them. It is one of those things that you have to have and I am not enamored by them. Their pricing is too high. The quality and service is mediocre. I would use them again if I had to.

The reason I picked Verizon was because I travel a lot in my job, and at the time I got the cell phone, they were the only company offering coverage throughout the entire United States. There are other companies now that offer the same thing, but those services are all too expensive.
