Great experience from A-Z. The company met with me, explained products, and made recommendations. As a single women, my concern is that I will be taken advantage of and treated differently then a male customer would be-this was not the case. I was treated respectly and all my questions were fully answered. A board with shingle samples was left for me for several weeks so I could ensure the color sample selected was what I really wanted. When it came time for the roof replacement, they coordinated with R and S sheet metal for the furnace and duct replacement. At my request, they spot checked the attic insulation to see if there were any spots needed additional coverage. The crew was very professional and cleaned the work site each day. They started promptly and worked hard. I was provided with daily progress reports. They also installed a light tunnel for my hallway. The new roof look great and I truly appreciate the level or workmanship and professionalism exhibited by this company and their employee. This is an excellent company and highly recommend them.

Great job. Was wanting to know how my wood shake roof is holding up after 18 years. He analyzed, fixed a few things that he discovered and fixed the hole in the roof ,which is the reason I contacted them. So he went beyond just what I called them for. I feel like I got not only a complete inspection in addition to fixing the hole, but some additional repairs and honest opinion about the potential life left of my roof. Very happy with the friendly service. Any future roofing needs, I will call them.

Company was recommended by neighbor who had her roof replaced about two years ago. Her son also had his roof replaced by the same company within the last month. Both individuals are super particular and very hard to please, so they spend a lot of time in research of companies and individuals before hiring anyone to work on their homes. On their recommendation I called the company to schedule an appointment with one of their representatives. It was a very informative two hours spent - I learned more about roofs and the work and materials involved. After a thorough inspection of my roof, I was informed that though well past the guarantee period (about 15 years since last replaced), roof was intact but beginning to buckle in a few places and maybe another year or two before real trouble began. I wanted a tile roof similar to neighbor's, but because of the peculiar built of my roof I was informed that the tar and gravel was the best choice. If I insisted tile could be installed but a segment of the roof would remain tar and gravel because of the flat surface. I was convinced that uniformity was my best choice, besides the tile would have cost more.
I felt very confident that I was dealing with a very honest and fair company. The Rep was very informative and took time to answer all my questions. I was also encouraged to call them anytime as new questions arose. The estimate and proposal I received was professional and very detailed. When the roof was replaced everyone involved from the owner to the workers were professional, courteous, friendly and made every effort to clean up at the end of each day. I am extremely satisfied with my new roof and heartily recommend Slaton and Son Roofing.
