Description of Work: Ron built a closet in our den. We were pleased with his work from start to finish. the painter he brought in did a great job as well. I would Recommend Ron and use him for future jobs.

 + -1 moreI called him about something and he came right over and gave me a rough estimate. He said he doesn't know when he can do it. He said something about getting a lot of calls for fences; I guess he does all kinds of work. Somebody gave him a good review about fences on Angies List and he mentioned something about that and I said that is where I found him. He said that he thought he could do it in a couple of weeks. It would be on a Saturday. I was positive and said go ahead with it. He wanted to use e-mail and I e-mailed him the same day. However in one week he e-mailed me with the formal estimate and wanted my phone number and then he said he could do it the next morning, one Saturday earlier. I already had plans and I couldn't do it. So I said any other time, I am available, just let me know. And he said he will have to let me know. And that was in May and I never heard from him. I did e-mail him a couple of weeks later and no answer. He initially came right over, but then when it got around to actually doing it, it was terrible. When he was out here, he was nice, but thereafter he was bad. He seemed like a good guy. That's one thing I learned now that contractors will do that if they don't feel like doing your little stupid job, they won't tell you that, they just sign you off and that's what he did. I don't think it's professional at all.

 + 3 moreDon't hesitate to hire this man! He is very devoted to his customers and the quality of his work. Otherwise I would not have had him do so many jobs for me.
Description of Work: Ron provided a variety of services from small to large. He built a hobby area in my garage, complete with a counter and cabinets, he put in a French door to my back patio, sealed the patio, built a retaining wall, built a picket fence as well as repaired another, did some landscaping, assembled, delivered and placed a large barbeque grill, replaced a sink disposal and garage door opener, cleaned my gutters, did some wiring and placed lighting, repaired a counter top, and more. Some of these he designed himself; on everything he provided helpful suggestions. Being a single, unhandy woman, he also pointed out maintenance I'd neglected and safety recommendations. I am thrilled with EVERYTHING he's done for me. He was prompt, courteous, reliable, reasonably priced (never once changing a quote mid-job), and neat. I never found myself with a mess to clean up after. He is definitely a jack-of-all-trades, and I gladly and enthusiastically recommend him highly.
