Description of Work: I took my granddaughter's car in to check her brakes. When I drove her car to Midas, I realized the brakes were in good shape but to reassure her, I took the car in anyway. They put the car up on the lift and after checking the brakes they called me back to the shop to show me what they found. They told me her brakes were in excellent shape and thoroughly explained how the brakes work. They gave me some discount coupons on other services, were not pushy at all. Yes I will definitely use them for other services on my car.

 + -1 moreFor routine service, Jorge and his amigos are hard to beat.
Description of Work: Midas Auto Service Experts on North Main is part of a National Chain, and the quality of the service you can expect will vary with the site. My recommendation applies to Jorge Zamora, and his merry band of Mexican mechanics, at this North Main location. I unhesitatingly recommend this site for routine maintenance involving brakes, lubrication, simple part replacements, etc. However, serious mechanical work, such as replacing seals, and adjusting the aim of headlights, or anything that really needs craftmanship in mechanical service, should go to a regular garage, with a repultation to maintain. Jorge tends to suggest repair work that really isn't critical to the operation of a car {i.e., replacing a windshield with a tiny crack in the lower RH corner), and his price for replacing the transmission and engine oil pans was about $700. I found an excellent transmission shop that did the job for $ 220, so I suggest shopping around.
