Over the past 4 decades the owner Brian has cleaned, repaired, reinstalled all types of carpet. We pre vacuum the carpets and dust or broom dusty baseboards prior to any standard cleaning procedures. We pre treat all areas especially heavy traffic areas or heavily soiled areas. If the area needs agitation as most heavily soiled areas do we use a carpet scrubbing brush on a floor machine to loosen soil. The soil is then removed with powerful extraction. Castles Home Services uses a textile rinse to strip off any soap residue and to prevent resoiling through wicking which is a common occurrence for many disatisfied clients. This step also prepares the carpet fiber to bond better with any protectants you may want such as Scotchgard or Stain Guardian. The textile rinse is such an important step I don’t know why any carpet cleaner would skip it but most do. We use protective blocks or sheets under any furniture we move to prevent rust or staining from furniture stain. as a final step Castles Home Services grooms the carpet for faster drying and enhanced appearance. I have taken certified classed for upholstery cleaning as well as water and smoke damage/deodorizing. Tile and stone cleaning too is available. I have great success repairing etching on marble vanity tops and floors . I also do minor grout repairs. I endeavor to treat you and your home as I would want myself and my property treated. "9/21/14 Let me start by saying that I am so sorry that [member name removed] had a bad experience with a cleaning company. That being said, it was not Castles Home Services. There are many cleaning companies out there and it is super easy to get in touch with the wrong one. Let me explain. I did clean carpets for [member name removed] back in August of 2013, I looked up the invoice. I did not clean any upholstery for her as her review indicates that I did, and I made sure that she was completely happy BEFORE I left as I always do. Before leaving any job I consult the client to see if they have any questions or concerns, then if so I address them at that time so that they and I are both confident that the experience was a success. I remember doing so on this occasion too. On the rare occasion that I do get a call back I promptly respond to any concerns and endeavor to do everything in my power to address and or correct any deficiencies that may have occurred. [member name removed] indicated that she was very happy with OUR services before I left and I have never received an indication of any disappointment on her behalf. I have no idea who [member name removed] had out to her beautiful home last week but it was NOT Castles Home Services. I truly wish it was Castles Home Services as she would not have had a negative experience as she describes above. Brian Castles arrived at our home at 9:00 a.m., the time and date arranged previously, to clean our carpet. It was in really bad condition from an 18-1/2 year old Toy Poodle who passed away the prior weekend. He had been blind and deaf for some time, and we wanted to get a new dog but decided to get the carpet cleaned. He told us that the new dog would probably still be able to detect any accidents on the carpet by the old dog, but we wanted him to go ahead with the cleaning any way.
He did an excellent job. The carpet (which was over 17 years old, looked like new again. It was amazing to see what Brian did and it took about 2-1/2 hours. He was very professional, using a sticky-tape to protect the furniture that would remain in the room, and vacuumed completely to remove all the loose dirt.
We are very impressed with Brian's job...and it looks fantastic. Thanks Brian!
