I originally called another vendor initially but after describing the problem, they didn't do what I needed to have done so they referred me to The Pool Guys. I called and got a return call from Frank. I described my problem and we set up a time for him to come look at. He was prompt. He took one look at the pool and said it just needed to be drained and new water put in. After checking the filter, we agreed we needed a new one that was more efficient and would help keep the water clean. A week later I had clean water and a new filter. Frank was very professional and called before coming over to be sure the dog wasn't out. I would recommend him to anyone.

After decades of maintaining my (in-ground) swimming pool, I've been using The Pool Guys Service for 13 months and I'm happy so far. Owners Connie and Frank are gracious and professional. With each weekly visit, the service person leaves a written notation of my pool's water condition and the work done. As a retired person, I'm grateful for the Senior Discount.

My 34 year-old DE filter got overloaded and “blew out”, leaving a coating of DE over the bottom of my pool. I attempted to vacum out the DE, algae and leaves and collect it in my filter, but that didn't work. I couldn't cope with the problem, so I searched Angie's List and found The Pool Guys Service. I called the owner, Frank Woods, who responded. He understood my problem immediately and came that day to check the situation and give me an estimate, He convinced me that I should replace the old DE filter and gave me an estimate which included a new cartridge filter, hauling away the old “junk”, vacuuming the DE and debris out of the pool, draining the pool , refilling the pool and balancing the chemicals. He agreed to start the next week and was there as promised. The job proceeded as planed and on schedule. My pool is beautiful again and the new filter works perfectly. He had the experience and knowledge to attack my problem efficiently and make it easy on me.

He did efverything he said he would do from the start. WE drained the pool and he pressured water cleaned the pool before we filled it back up for $150.00 and has been doing the weekly service since then. The company has a fleet of service trucks and employees. I am happy with the company.

I called The Pool Guys because my large in ground pool had turned green. I spoke to the office manager, Connie, and explained my problem. She very kindly contacted Frank right away and he came by my home within the hour.
He examined my pool and equipment and advised me that the pool pump was broken which is why the pool was green. Frank recommended that I replace my outdated, noisy, energy wasting pool equipment rather than just replacing the motor in the pump. He spent quite a bit of time explaining that newer energy efficient equipment would save me money in the long run and also be quieter and work better in keeping the pool clean.
Frank's prices are fair as I called a few other companies and their prices were around the same for a new pump and filter with installation.
I called Frank back on Tuesday, he came by that Thursday with his professional installer and installed the new equipment. Frank also brought my green pool back to blue again at no additional charge without draining the pool.
Our pool has never looked as good as it goes right now - the water is clear and blue, and we hardly hear the new pump running.
We are very happy with our new pool equipment and with the wonderful service we received from Frank and Connie at the Pool Guys and will be using this company for weekly pool service. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for any type of service for their pool. Frank is a real professional who really knows pools.

I called around trying to get someone to clean my pool right away. The Pool Guys answered when I called and came the same afternoon to see the pool. They recommended draining the pool and started working on it right then and came back late that night to continue the process. They finished in just a couple of days, and it looks beautiful. They seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. I might hire them for weekly service.

About 10-days later, he recommended that the pool be drained due to green water. This was done and the pool was refilled. This was the first time that I had the pool water drained and refilled in 48 years. He then added and balanced the necessary chemicals to the new water. Suffice to say, the water is now clear and blue and new equipment functioning well.

These guys are always easy to get a hold of and they show up on time. The work is done quickly, efficiently and they always leave everything very clean. I know that their pricing is fair and comparable to other companies.
