Awning Service
The first thing they did is break the sewer line, even though it was marked (one of the post holes). They offered to repair the section but this was Orangeburg pipe. I stopped services at that time and consulted with a plumber, then a City of Sacramento inspector, and they both confirmed this is Orangeburg pipe in which a section cannot be repaired to code (the line has to be replaced). The Landscape Company refused to pay for even part of the sewer line replacement and dropped all communication (secretary screened our calls). I took them to small claims court and won for half the cost of the sewer line replacement (approx. $2700). This happened in 2006, they still have not paid.

Pavers and Hardscaping Service
The yard looks great. There were some problems. The fence work was inferior & had to be redone. They cut through the electrical line to the pool light so the light had to be replaced. They did not offer to pay the full price of the replacement but did accept my offer to split the bill 50:50. They were going to go for the cheapest answer to the light problem which was not the safest. I had to insist on the safest route. Communication was difficult but as I said the finished product was beautiful. My biggest complaint is that they have not honored their warranty on the plants. They were supposed to replace any plants that's died within the first 3 months. They have not done so & it has been 6 months since the job was completed. Repeated calls have not been returned.
