Description of Work: The clock is a floor model that has been in home since 1976. There had been no service performed other than what I did, so it was due for service because it stopped running . The Clock Doctor removed the Howard Miller Clock and kept it for 7 days . They were very professional and showed respect for my home and clock.

Description of Work: I purchased an antique grandfather clock that needed total refurbishing as it had never been cleaned. He took the whole thing apart, cleaned and repaired it, kept it for two weeks in the shop to make sure it worked correctly, then reinstalled it.

 + -1 moreI never did talk to the repair person. All information was handled by a secretary. She took the clock and wrote the repair invoice, noting that battery had been changed but still did not work. Since I did not receive a call back from the Clock Doctor for an estimate within 2 days, I went back to the shop to see what the prognosis was. The secretary called the Clock Doctor then reported to me that the clock needed new parts and labor.
Description of Work: My clock had stopped working. I changed the battery 2 times, but the clock still did not work. I took it to The Clock Doctor. I was given a repair estimate of $64.11 for parts and labor, so I left with my clock for another estimate. The next clock repair company tested the battery, which turned out to be bad, inserted a new battery, and the clock worked.
