Stump Busters

Mark (the owner) was a little late showing up. Not a big deal since my wife was home all day but might matter for others. He did the job and did it well but treated my wife poorly. He assumed she had no clue where the sprinkler lines or other utilities were (even though we both worked on the yard together and she knew as much as I did). At the end, he did the job at a good price so I'd hire him again. But if I do, I'll be sure I will interact with him since he either was having a bad day or thinks women are rather dumb...

Mark came 15 minutes early and got right to work, grinding away a tree stump and bush roots. I have a relatively small back yard but Mark made it work. Thanks again Mark!

Mark arrived on time and did an excellent job getting rid of a large stump in the front yard. Great communication, would not hesitate to use again.

The stump and root removal went very well. Mr. Ford arrived on time, worked hard, and exceeded my expectations. I was very pleased with his professionalism and thoroughness. I'm someone who needs a great deal of detail about a job before I allow someone to perform it on my property, and he certainly provided all the information I needed, and he carried through. One thing I discovered is that he knows a great deal about trees, so he was able to help me understand the root problems I had with my old trees, and he had many helpful recommendations for my future trees. He also surprised me by helping me, with his machine, dig two new holes for my next trees. He went beyond the call of duty, and I definitely would hire him again.

Work provided was excellent. They were prompt, professional and kept me informed which is extremely important. Fair with their pricing. Good customer service.

I called Mark and gave him the diameter of the stump and mentioned I also wanted the exposed roots ground down. He gave me an approximate idea of the cost which did not include removing the wood debris. We scheduled the work date and time and he called to confirm prior to arriving plus arrived early. It took about a half hour or so. Grinding left us a pile of wood shavings mixed with soil.and we plan to use them in our back yard. He blew the debris off of the sidewalk and driveway. We paid the same cost he gave us over the phone. Very satisfied with this contractor, Mark is a nice person and worked steadily until the job was finished. Would recommend to friends, family and neighbors.

I liked him a lot, he was a really good contractor for the type of work he did. He was subcontracted by our tree guy and I would recommend him. He was here the next day, right on time and he was a nice guy to work with.

Mark showed up the next day, with his portable grinder, still a pretty big ol' machine, but better suited to the job at hand and got the job done. He was easy to talk to explained his work and did a great job for both my neighbor and me. When he was done he got an O.K. from me and offered to come back and regrind any thing he had missed,
