I am very please with Dan's work.  I realized how much pride he takes in doing a good job while observing the project progress.

Dan was punctual all 3 days  plus 2 days worked 7 am to 5:30 pm. He was exceptional y detailed through very helpful and the best painting for me in 450 years. I am 84 years old.

We are very impressed with the job Dan did for us.  Dan does the work himself instead of running a crew.  We interfaced with him directly each day.  He has high standards for the work he does.  He gives honest answers and let us know what we could expect.  
Dan spent five days just doing prep work before starting to paint. The preparation made all the difference in the quality of the paint job.  We were very impressed with his attention to detail.
He arrived promptly each morning and worked quietly and continuously throughout the day.  He kept us informed throughout the project and offered suggestions.
With a weathered 60 year old house, we knew we couldn't expect the finished product to be perfect but the job Dan did was amazing! The house looks great!  He did a top quality job.  We are very pleased with his work and plan to rehire him when we are ready to paint the interior.

My 25-year old house looks better than it ever has, thanks to Dan Sovereign. Dan's work exceeded my expectations. He or a member of his immediate family performed all services. He always showed up when he said he was going to be there. Dan is an extremely skilled craftsman. He is extremely knowledgeable, conscientious and meticulous in all prep work and actual painting. Dan did some interior painting for me earlier this year and the results were also of the highest quality. Dan did not work with a crew but brought in a helper from time to time so was on site for  about 13 work days.  The good thing was that all work was consistent and thorough.  He knew exactly what he was doing at all times.

Very professional and always on time.  Excellent prep work prior to painting.  Took time to help find color of choice and match trim on house.  Excellent paint job.  Shows his many years of experience by his work performance.  Cleaned up nicely after job was completed. 

We had used Sovereign for interior painting about 4 years ago and were very pleased, so after getting a decent quote for this exterior work from them, I booked them for the job without even taking other bids. Much of the work was in places that I myself could not reach. Dan applied two coats of paint to all the trim. I was pretty pleased with the work overall except for two things: On some of the second-story windows where Dan had caulked for me, he didn't paint over the caulk; normally this wouldn't be a big deal, except one of the windows is to the side of a second-story deck and you can see the unpainted caulk from the deck - and I have no way to reach it myself to cover it. The other issue has to do with painting the deck - Dan was kind of sloppy, painting some spindles in the deck rail that he didn't need to paint at all with the house's body color because they were next to posts that did need painting. Not a bad job overall, but not up to snuff with his prior interior work.
