When the contract was signed and agreed to we also asked if they could install a mister system to the cover. Mr. Everitt agreed to do it verbally and said it was not necessary to rewrite the contract to include the mister system, we paid 50% deposit with final do on completion. The patio work was done and they did a good job with it and we have no problem with the work itself. When the work was done Mr. Everitt came out the next day to inspect it and to pick up the final check. He told me then that he would send someone out to install the mister system in a day or 2 but that he needed to get the check then. He seemed honest and sincere so I paid him. Then after 2 weeks went by with no mister installation we called several times and left messages none of which was returned. Finally my wife made contact and he told her they did not intend to honor the verbal commitment as it ''was not in the contract''. Our mistake but will not do business with someone who will not honor promises.
