From the day they gave us an estimate everything went really well. They would provide us with a schedule, and would be here when they said they would be. If I had a concern or question, it would always be answered and addressed. Prior to, and during the process, they would make suggestions to make our home even look better! They did everything we asked and more. We had a day or two of rain so they couldn't work on those days, but did everything they could to make up the time, working late on some days. I would recommend this company to anyone who is considering having plastering work done to their home!

The crew spent two days removing old wood sills and trim on the front of my house. Next, they prepared and applied three layers of stucco to match existing stucco texture. Each layer took several days to dry sufficiently prior to application of the next layer, this necessarily took a couple weeks to complete.
Next phase involved installation of the architectual foam forms around the front bedroom and the large living room windows, then more stucco was applied to the foam, again matching the existing stucco texture...an excellent job.
Finally, a base coat and two additional colored paints were sprayed and rolled onto the stucco.

Mr. Salcedo and his crew were very professional and always showed up on time and ready to work. They took great care in keeping the work site clean, neat, and well protected with paint tarps. Work debris was removed and swept up at the end of each day, and the work crew went to great lengths to minimize our inconvenience. I will employ Luis and his crew again on other expansion projects in the near future. Excellent value for our investment. Kudos to Salcedo Plastering - thank you for a great job, Luis!

The job was done quickly and professionally, they took care to make sure that no damage was done to the surrounding areas and they cleaned up the work area completely, it was a pleasure to have them do the job.

I was happy with the stucco work on the wall. The work took about two days and seemed to go smoothly. The contractor was able to match the new stucco texture coat to the rest of the house. The thing I wasn't happy about was the mess they left on my exposed aggregate concrete patio. They splashed clumps of stucco mixture on the concrete surface, then stepped in it and tracked the stuff all over the place. They didn't clean it up and gave me the impression the spots were not stains and would clean up easily with a blast from the hose; however that wasn't the case. The spots did stain my concrete and in some cases were more than just stains; there were remnants of stucco mixture that had bonded to the exposed aggregate. Scrubbing with a wire brush removes the stains but also removes the patina from the patio surface. About the only way to remove the stucco remnants is to chisel it off, which I haven't done yet. So the stucco work came out nice, but they caused unsightly damage to my concrete patio. For that, I do not recommend this company.

My overall experience was very good. I got a sense that Luis Salcedo wanted the job to turn out well and was more than willing to work with us. He provided us with all the insurance documents required as well as a writted bid.

My house had some major and many minor cracks in the stucco. Louis showed me the AkroFlex/OmegaFlex product - an acrylic stucco that would fill and cover the existing cracks and would prevent future cracks. Louis and a staff person came out and did the job. The color match was nearly perfect and the finish was just as he described. He did an excellant job and I am very pleased with the results. He is a very pleasant person. He and his staff were polite. The clean up could have been a little better, but was certainly nothing worth complaining about. I would happily use him again.

Luis and his crew did the same type of job on a friend of mine's house that I needed done on my house. My friend is the most picky perfectionists I know and is almost never happy with his contractors but he recommended Salcedo plastering to me so I figured if they were good enough for him they must be pretty good. There bid was considerably lower then the other estimates I got, they showed up when they said they would, they worked fast, they did a great job, and were very concerned that we were happy and did everything they could to make sure we were happy with the job. They did a pretty good job of cleaning up, much better then other stucco guys I've used.
