ROBERT'S FURNITURE DELIVERY

Robert knocked on my door, introduced himself and was initially polite. He went to his delivery truck and returned with the first small sectional and a helper. As they approached my front door, I asked if they could remove my front door before carrying it in to my home. Robert said, no, it (the door) didn't need to be removed and approached the door shoving and repositioning the piece because it was TOO BIG to get through the door. I asked again, please take the door off. Robert ignored my request and shoved the piece through the door. The piece of sectional was placed on the floor and was unwrapped. When Robert and his helper left to get the second piece of the sectional, I examined the piece shoved through the door and found a scratch. I went out to the delivery truck and told Robert what I found. He attempted to convince me, the scratch was part of the leather. I rebutted and said no it wasn't. He left and went to his delivery truck and returned with the large sectional. As Robert walked down my walk way, I repeated myself and and asked Robert to remove my front door. At this point Robert's attitude became hostile and said, no he wasn't removing my front door and continued to shove the last piece of the sectional through the door. His face was turning red because he was physically struggling having to back up and reposition the piece until he was able to shove it through the door. I told him, I never have received furniture in my home with out the front door removed. I was furious at this point and told him, he was just plain LAZY! I called the manager at Arizona Leather and he was very upset Robert defied my request and for his rudeness. Robert went out side and was on his cell phone talking with the manager of Arizona Leather. Robert came back into my home and apologized for 'getting in my face', but he was in a hurry. I told him, what was his point, he being in a hurry had nothing to do with the lack of care delivering my furniture and ignoring an defying my request to remove my front door. It is evident Robert is too old and out of shape to deliver furniture AND to deal with Arizona Leather's customers. In my opinion, he has taken Arizona Leather's business for granted and believes he can be rude to their customers with out being held accountable. Hopefully he'll find out NEVER take business for granted. I have never had any one deliver furniture or appliances to my home with out removing the front door first or had to deal with any one so rude.
