Ravens Corner Museum Quality Framing

I recently purchased a turn of the century (1900s) charcoal drawing of an elderly Jewish man, and I love it. I wanted the perfect frame for it, so I went to Angie's List. Highest praise was for Raven's Corner. I called ahead for an appointment with Sheri and took it in. She was very professional and helped me find the right frame and matte. It took about three weeks, and I'm so pleased with the job they did. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone wanting first-rate framing for a valuable picture. It was expensive, but it was money well spent.

Do not be put off by the price I paid! My two-sided art work looks wonderful. Raven's Corner was recommended by the gallery owner where I purchased art work done on the back of a cardboard advertisement, and I wanted to have the advertisement visible. To complicate matters, the piece is an odd shape. Sherri and Susan took their time with me, discussing possible mattes and frames. I am not adept at understanding spacial elements or engineering, but they provided examples so that I could understand how the two-sided work could be finished. I intend the piece to be displayed for many years, so I selected upgraded forms of plexiglass. The framing was completed on time, and I was provided with explanations for hanging and cleaning. While I have used big box framers for other art, choosing specialists for this piece was the right decision.
