Description of Work: I checked Polar Bear Auto close before I went in and they met all my expectations. If I need repairs again I will go there. I like their 24000 mile/month warranty which can be honored at their associate stores (this is to be tested.)

+ -1 moreI went in. I paid 500 dollars to Polar Bear Auto Care and I don't think they fixed it first hand. I went in again because the air conditioning stopped working. I went in again under a warranty. I paid another 300 dollars to replace the condenser. They should have replaced it the first time. But, they fixed it anyway and it worked perfectly well.

+ -1 moreAfter a quick early morning diagnosis and service recommendations by the PBAC business owner; no service performed at all by the Polar Bear Auto Care repair shop. I was very disappointed! I paid $90 for the Polar Bear Auto diagnosis and absolutely ZERO Work Done! Took my vehicle to another dealer (much closer to my residence) and got needed and necessary four shocks installed. World of difference and the second service shop provided complete work, including parts and labor. for $380.00! Also took same vehicle to a third service repair shop and A/C is now working (for 3 months now) at my cost of $130.00! Polar Bear Auto Care business did not advise nor recommend anything and [DID NOTHING] and because of recommendations and reviews provided by Angies List, it was the first repair shop I drove to (48 miles from my home). I will never return to Polar Bear Auto Care repair shop and I own six vehicles from 1994 through 2013.
Description of Work: Check-out A/C system. Check-out the brakes and shocks due to noise, ride and performance. Check-out fuel delivery and engine performance. Nothing done and nothing recommended!!!!

+ -1 moreThey were able to replace the ac compressor and they did an excellent job. They recharged the system and they did excellent.
Description of Work: They found an issue with my ac in my truck. They definitely went to the schematics that were called for my specific vehicle, and they are able to tell me that it was put in by a second party and was not the original equipment.

Description of Work: In the beginning, they struggled to fix my air conditioner in my car, and made a few attempts to correct the issue. In the end, they were able to remedy the situation, and loan me a rental car to use while they fixed the air conditioner once and for all.

+ -1 moreMy car air conditioning died on Friday afternoon. I called and even though they were swamped with work they fit me in first thing Saturday morning. Two hours later they called to let me kinow the car was ready to be picked up. They do good work and their prices are extremely reasonable
Description of Work: They fixed my air conditioning and changed the oil. Totally reliable - Finding an auto repair place has always been difficult for me because I don't have much knowledge in this area and I have fears about being ripped off. I've been going to Polar Bear for the last four years and am delighted with their service. No matter how busy they are Kevin Bishop, the General Mgr, always fits me into their schedule. + -1 moreEverything at Polar Bear was fine but the price. It is well known for their convenience and their speedy service. The mechanics were great to work with and very pleasant I just did not expect to pay what I did at Polar Bear.
