 + 1 moreWell this very skilled man practically re-made these shoes into the most incredible reconstructed shoe I have ever seen in my life! They looked well polished and restored to a shoe I could now walk in and have confidence in wearing! He performed a miracle that exceeded my expectation and then charged so little money for his services! More than reasonable! So when I picked up my beloved, formerly dilapidated (pre-payed) shoes, I could only spare a little extra, but gave him a $20 tip! It's ashamed that this type of business is dying and no one is even learning this skill for the future anymore! He has MOVED TO 1610 FULTON AVE Sacramento, CA
Description of Work: I required 'new shoes' at the point I took my shoes in! They were literally dead shoes. But once my repairs were assessed and explained to me in detail...I was surely hoping the Cobbler could deliver me from worn out soles, cracked in areas that connected the bottom of shoe to the top of shoe, a gaping opening into the middle of the inner shoe. Heck, they even required sewing stitches!

Description of Work: The owner carefully examined the three pairs of shoes I had brought for resoling/repair and described his findings in detail as well as the cost of repair. One pair required stitching of the upper to the piece of leather that forms the insole, a difficult task that can result in "re-sizing" of the shoe with an associated loss of comfort. All repairs were performed perfectly with a beautiful polish job on each pair. Note that the cost of the repairs was less than the price for one new pair. We moved from Modesto a year ago and searched for a shoe repair in Sacramento. We were fortunate to find this excellent shop.
