This reviewer first went to a smaller store operated by Meissner Sewing and Vacuum, and learned that a larger variety of units was available at a nearby main store. The sales person provided a card with her own name, Cindy, and advice to contact Caryl (pronounced "Carol") at the main store. Both sales representatives were very knowledgeable about the options available with Meile canister vacuums. They had ready answers to complex questions and examples of the differences in operation and performance of the C3 models. One might not think that the arrival of a new vacuum cleaner in a household would be cause for much excitement, but in this case, it was. We borrowed a no-name vacuum while we researched the Meile vacuums available, and the change back to the Meile C3 is indeed cause for excitement. German design and engineering is often incremental, taking an already good product and gradually improving on it, e.g., the BMW motorcycle. The improvements in the C3 fall into the "of course, why didn't I think of that?" category. The motorized wand head has, to use a rather un-German term, major mojo, and the filtration has been extensively improved over a model that dates to approximately 1992. The shopping experience was pleasant, sales representatives were highly skilled and the product is excellent and probably state-of-the-art. Nicely done, Meissner and crew--thank you! Note: the Cormorant Way address is not far from Business 80 and El Camino Avenue in Sacramento, it is necessary to go on a couple of small back streets to get to the Cormorant address; in this reviewer's opinion, worth the effort.

VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE GROUP OF REPAIRMAN. MY MACHINE WAS REPAIRED AND RETURNED TO ME WITHIN DAYS OF MY LEAVING IT WITH THE STORE. RATES WERE VERY REASONABLE AND THEY PERFORMED THE WORK WITHIN THE ORIGINAL QUOTED PRICE.
