Maureen was great. I contacted her about two months prior to planned trip to Spain. We (my husband and II) were planning 2 weeks in Spain with 1 week in Madrid and other in Barcelona. I was very stressed and overwhelmed trying to plan it myself. My husband and I had traveled a couple of times oversees together. I planned 3 trips and we had a great time each time. However this was our first time with our son (18monts). Maureen was prompt in her reply and very attentive to my demanding needs/request. Having a little one I needed to make sure everything would be just right to make the trip easier on everyone. I had a lot of very specific request/details that she was able to accommodate for the most part. She truly helped me with the flights and the lodging. I had a hard time finding the flight I wanted (had very specific needs for times, airlines and seats). She did a great job finding me exactly what I needed. About a week or two before leaving she provided us all the necessary documents and tickets in in a nice travel binder.
The flight was on British Airways and was pronominal! We were being treated so well My husband literally did not want to get off the plane. I will add that we were in business class (it is truly the way the fly with a little one if in the budget), but everyone on the plane look genuinely happy.
The lodging was also an issue for me. For the first time I realized that it would be too difficult to stay in regular hotel. She found a great boutique apartment hotel that had everything we needed (bedroom, full kitchen, outdoor space, washer and dryer). Even better was the location of both places. They were actually close to everything we needed like supermarkets and restaurants and in very friendly residential areas with families and parks. Got to live the true Spanish lifestyle. This is not something you necessarily get in a regular hotel. Another great thing was that the although it was an apartment, we still had almost full service hotel options (something you do not get with Air BNB and VRBO). The staff was great and tended to our every need and request. They made us feel welcome.
She booked travel between cities on the train and with great accommodations and easy to manage schedule. Maureen was a great help to me in planning our first family trip. She has years of her own travel experience and knowledge and that really showed. Even with the added stress of having a toddler in tow, we had the time of our lives! We proved to people who thought that we were crazy for taking our son that it can be done and is actually even more enjoyable then when we traveled as a twosome. We are planning another trip to Europe in a couple years and will use her again.

"Busy professionals, knew what they wanted but didn't have to time to research and plan. I have traveled to Spain sever times and even took a group right after 911 when most were afraid to travel. I didn't travel much when my children were little, BUT now that I am a grandmother I have traveled several times with my grandchildren. Even took my first grandson to Adare Manor for his first birthday! Traveling with small children can be a challenge but it can be done. "Wow! I learned a long time ago you can't please some people no matter how hard you try. This client is a single older woman traveling alone in Africa with physical limitations. Which I thought she was very brave to under take. She should go back and read some of the emails she sent me and my responses. I DID suggest a shuttle service to take her from Sacramento to San Francisco. Door to door service was very expensive. But she could save almost a hundred dollars if she had a friend drop her off at the shuttle services office downtown. She said there had been several break ins in her area and she didn't want to anyone to think she wasn't home. Apparently she did not like that suggestion. I would NEVER send a single woman some place that I thought she may not be safe. Regarding her food requests on her flight. I tried to explain to her that I have very little control over what the airlines serves. But what I could do is request a Kosher, Hindu, Asian vegetarian, diabetic, bland, salt free, gluten free, and raw fruit and vegetables. She gave me a laundry list of things she could and could not eat. I told her again that I could only request these types of meals. She even sent me a nice email saying that the wheel chair services I arranged for her worked out well, I really don't understand why she would give me A's and B's on all the categories I helped her with then turn around and say she would not recommend my services."

There was no cost out of pocket for her services, as her rewards are benefited by the company after travel. We were out of country for three weeks and I waited until our trip was over before writing a review in order to see how well things worked out. Travel out of country can be daunting to arrange, so if you want professional advice and peace of mind that your trip will be a success, I can confidently recommend her services, as everything went well.
My wife and I also had the pleasure of meeting with her and her husband in a relaxed environment when receiving our tickets and itinerary and we look forward to utilizing her services again sometime in the future.
As an aside, we purchased trip insurance and my daughter?s iPhone was lost during part of our trip. I?m working with the insurance company at this time to pay for its replacement, but Maureen has continued to follow up and offer assistance in this matter, even after our trip has been completed, which speaks to her character and what you can expect from her services.
"What a lovely couple, they were great to work with. I was sorry that the client's daughter either lost or had her cellphone stolen. Where would we be without our cellphones any more! I depend on mine so much while traveling. It sounds like the insurance company is going to be able to help my customer. Another reason to purchase travel insurance! I have seen so many customers regret not purchasing it. There are so many unforeseen things that can happen before your trip as well as during your trip that can ruin a great vacation.
