I was very pleased to work with Miguel in replacing my really horrible old concrete patio. He and is crew showed up on time, worked incredibly hard in miserable heat and completed a quality product.

I had a cement path and pad poured for a shed by Miguel and his crew. They did an excellent job. They showed up on time when they said they would and worked hard all day. They even disassembled and then reassembled my shed. In addition I had all my drip lines in the front yard replaced, old bark hauled away and new rock added. Again, I was extremely happy with his work and that of his crew. His bid was super reasonable and he was very accommodating with any requests I had. Thank you Miguel!

Mar Cor Concrete is operated by Mr. Miguel Ramierez, a very knowledgeable and competent contractor. This job required moving many large lava rocks embedded in the concrete edging from one side of the pool, demolishing the concrete decks surrounding the pool, adding an auto-fill valve, and then creating new decks, borders, and pathways. Mr. Ramierez very patiently showed us various possibilities for the concrete finishes and colors, answered our many questions, and provided good advice. He also spoke and met with the landscape designer to coordinate plans. When some changes were made at the last minute, Mr. Ramierez was completely accommodating and understanding. Some minor leaks in our pool had been identified and needed to be repaired by a leak detection company. However, even before they began their work, Mr. Ramierez and his crew looked into some of the same areas of moist ground. They dug way down into the wet areas and made effective repairs of the broken PVC pipes and elbows. They also found that rainwater drains under the surface, leading to the street were also clogged, which they fixed at extensive labor for just the cost of materials. Now that the new deck is completed, we are delighted. It is beautiful with smooth brushed surfaces and extra decorative expansion lines around the border of the pool. However, there was still one area around the pool that wouldn’t dry. This leak was clearly not caused by their work because the corresponding feed line for the spa was filled with roots, indicating a very longstanding problem which the other pool repair company had missed. Mr. Ramierez and the crew came back several times to dig and open areas of the concrete until they found and repaired that final leak. He didn't ask for more payment, but they had worked so hard on extra items that weren't in the contract, I offered him an extra amount. This company prides itself on customer satisfaction. All the members of Mr. Ramierez’s crew were hard-working, skilled, efficient, and a pleasure to have working at our house. We give MarCor an A+ rating.
