La Qru Tile and Marble

He was really, really good, except that he has a tendency to underestimate the effort, which is fine by me. He was there for three and a half days and his bid was for two days. So it took him a whole lot longer than he expected to do, but he didn't charge me any extra money. He did a great job. He left everything as clean as it could be. Every day when he left, he cleaned up. He was on time every morning and stayed all day. He did exactly what I wanted him to do.

They arrived not only on time but a bit early.
Worked straight thru lunch - no breaks.
Finished what I assumed would take 3 days in less than 2.
Kept any mess to an absolute minimum and cleaned up perfectly.
Tiled 176 square feet - kitchen, hall and bath, replaced all the baseboards and did a beautiful job.
Micheal's price was half of the other 2 bids I got so I was a bit sceptical but I can't imagine anyone doing a better job.
I have already recommended him and would definitely use him again.

They were clean, tidy and professional. He was very good about covering his feet when walking on our carpet.  He was on time. They were reasonably priced. They did beautiful work. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Michael Wilke understood how I wanted the finished bathroom to look. I have a mid-century house and wanted to redo this bathroom in authentic tile and in the same style. I ordered the wall tile from B&W in the exact colors that I wanted, and Michael provided a white floor tile to complement what I picked for the vanity top and shower. Michael and his assistant always showed up on time and were meticulous about using drop cloths and cleaning up at the end of the work day. Michael does a very professional job and it is clear that he knows his trade and has had years of training and practice. The finished bathroom is better than I had imagined and just beautiful. Michael and his assistant also installed drywall in various areas in my house where it had been removed to take out the old pipes. They did a great job with this as well and Michael put a lot of effort into getting the texture just right on the new drywall so that it would match the existing drywall. Michael is all that you would want in a contractor - his prices are fair and reasonable, he shows up when expected and works hard while on the job, and he cleans up after he is done. As an added bonus, Michael gave me produce from his garden! He's a nice man, honest and hard-working. I will always call him first for home repairs.

Michael was prompt with bid and final invoice was exactly as planned.  He interacted well with the tenant and did an amazing job.

have already referred Mike to two people looking for tile work. He is extremely reliable, reasonably priced, honest and cleans up after himself. I would use him again.Re

The workmanship in all area's was excellent. We are very happy with the results. Mike and Mo were early every day and stayed until that portion of the work was done and always cleaning as they went. I would and will call him when we are ready to the bedrooms and other bath. If you are looking for a a top notch company to do a tile install and make sure the other work needed done  at that time to complete the job, then La Qru will do you nicely.  As for the price. You may get it done for less but it won't get done better.  I was a little curious about things and Mike and Mo had no trouble walking me thru some of the things they were doing.  There may be so much more to this experience that I could relate that would entice you to call La Qru for that estimate you are looking for but I don't want to spoil your experience.  Its like comparing buying a chevy to buying my 1st and 2nd Saturn.  Sometimes the ease of doing it brings you back.

I got bids from four tile installers. LaQru's bid was the clearest, with every detail covered. There were no 'hidden' costs with LaQru. Every other bid left 'holes' and contingencies which made it impossible for me to get a clear idea of actual cost to install new tile throughout my home. LaQru's Michael Wilke was the only tile contractor who brought pictures of his previous projects. He was the only tile contractor who kept in touch during the decision process. He was willing and able to answer any and all questions. It was not at all difficult to choose LaQru Tile and Marble when I was ready to start my project. Michael is a PERFECTIONIST. He fussed over every detail. He arrived when he said he would. He worked long hours in hot weather and he did an excellent job. The workers he brought with him were good, solid guys and I never had a concern when they were in my home. As a result of his excellent work, I extended the original project to include an office that I had not intended to retile. But I realized that I could no longer live with the ugly office tile after I saw what a marvelous job Michael had accomplished in the rest of my home.
