"Kleen Air was originally contracted to install a 3.5 ton Trane unit in December of 2007. Kleen Air believed the new system had been installed as per industry standards and local/state codes. Kleen Air was informed that the wrong condenser was supplied by the manufacturer. The manufacturer verified that the condenser was incorrectly labeled at the manufacturing plant and they were to blame. The manufacturer supplied a brand new condenser and Kleen Air installed the properly sized unit immediately upon receipt. A letter from the manufacturer was also supplied for documentation and given to the homeowner stating that they were 100% at fault. Kleen Air had not been contacted since Feb. 18, 2008,(which is when the correct equipment had been installed) that a single issue, problem or concern relating to the air conditioning system existed. In fact, the first time we had heard of any concern about the customer's system was from this Angie’s List approx. 5 years later. If Kleen Air had received any notification of any concerns, we would have happily resolved those issues immediately."
"One of our top priorities is to take as much time as necessary to answer any questions a customer may ask. We have no problem answering any question, and if you want to observe our process, we are happy to show you. It all part of showing our customers the value they are receiving when they hire us. Thank you Customer!"
"Thank you for such a glowing review! We have always strived to give our customers the best prices possible. We aren't always the lowest but we are almost always competitive in our pricing. Then once we get the job, we make sure to give you the maximum value for your money. Kleen Air understands that is the only way to do business and that's why we have been around this long."
"Thank you for your great review! Sounds like another home run! We also love hearing about problems we solved while doing our work. We work hard to come up with solutions to often complex challenges, and with 38 years in the business, we become very good at it. It was our pleasure working with you and we look forward to servicing you anytime."
"Thank you for your review and please let us know if there is anything more we can do for you."
"Thank you in advance for any future recommendations to those close to you! Our business depends on word of mouth. That is partly how we have survived for over 37 years!"
"We notified the customer that his ductwork had a problem.... it was wrapped in asbestos! As certified experts in indoor air quality, we advised him that he should have it replaced. If your ducts are wrapped in asbestos and the ductwork gets a little tear or your system is not properly sealed, you will soon be getting asbestos blown into your house. That is seriously disturbing! And that is why we advised that the ductwork should be replaced. We don't see how our honesty is put into question on this issue. As far as the pricing is concerned, our price was a little higher than usual because we would have to hire an abatement company to come in and remove the asbestos. With our pricing we also did some research and listed all the available rebates and tax credits we could find that he qualified for. We even gave an approximate monthly payment if he financed through SMUD. Our pricing may not always be the lowest, but we've shown that we were nothing but honest with this potential customer. We never did any work for Jeremy."
"We always strive to leave a job cleaned, as if we were never there. Our customers appreciate that. Thank you for your great review!"
