If I could give this lower than an F. I would. Hottest day of the year 108. Rush home from work to grab laptop to take it to this place. Called and voice recorder stated they would be open until 6 pm. Get there at 452 pm they are closed. Even on angies list states they are open until 6pm. Called left message, never responded back. I would rather have my dog fix my laptop than to go back and try them. Lousy, lousy customer service

He completed the job in a few hours, and I am just happy to have the files and data that would otherwise be lost. So sad about my dead computer, but I knew going in that it was pretty much toast.

He did an excellent job, worked efficiently and effectively and we were very pleased.

My wife runs much of her business on her laptop. Her email program stopped running. I called Home Base. He asked several questions then asked me to bring the computer in to his shop. It runs an older Microsoft OS. I got the PC to him in late morning and told him it was very important to my wife's business. He called later on the same day and said the PC was ready. He had backed up the Email data, upgraded Microsoft Outlook the the next version. (i had the disk.) So i got it back running perfectly the same day i brought it in. The cost was just about $80 which i believe is a good price for excellent service.

On March15, 2013 my iMac's disc began to fail. My computer had all of my financial information which was needed for my taxes and ongoing divorce proceedings on March 18. I Took computer to Apple store where I also discovered that all of my data was not backed up. Under the warranty, Apple replaced the hard drive but did not attempt to transfer the data from the damaged hard drive. I checked Angie's list and based on ratings and comments, I took my computer to Home Base ComputerServices on March 25. The service was excellent. The owner, Neil Winchell was able to save all of my data from the damaged hard drive, transferred it to the new hard drive and hooked up a Seagate backup unit to my computer. I received back the computer on March 28! I have used various computer repair businesses and this one is the tops. I will be using only Home Base from now on. Kudos to Neil!

We called Home Base Computer Systems becaue other users of Angie's List liked them. It was easy to get an appointment for a house call. We were impressed by Neils demeanor. He was approachable and professional. My husband showed him his computer first since it was causing the most trouble. He quickly went to work checking out the system. It didn't take him very long to see where the trouble was and to fix it. He then responded to my husbands question about hte turntable and fixed it. He was very courteous to me even though I know very little about computers. He explained why the old security system could cause trouble and downloaded a free replacement for me. We felt that his price was decent and were both impressed with how he handled himself. He presented his bill, explaining the charges and told us to call if there were still problems.

My husband had trouble with his cocomputer freezing up and called Neil. he explained over the phon how to fix the trouble. We will use the service again when we meed help with our computers.

Our computer wouldn't turn on and he fixed it and also did some work on the hard drive for us and it is working fine since then. He was very honest and straight forward and I would definitely use his services again in the future.

We had already tried to repair the computer ourselves by installing a new power supply. When that didn't work we decided to get professional help. My son had worked and saved for a long time to get the $4,000 for his computer and was extremely uncomfortable with someone else messing with his and ldquo;babyand rdquo;. He did not want to leave his computer in a shop where he would not know what they were tinkering with. I called Neil in the morning and arranged for him to do the repairs at our house. He was able to come to our house that afternoon. He asked us about what happened before the computer shut down and took a look inside. Since we had already installed a new power supply, he figured the problem was the motherboard. He ordered a new one and came back two days later to install it. When the new motherboard would not light up, he decided that our brand new power supply might be bad and he was right. He ordered and installed a better power supply, and reinstalled our old motherboard, saving us the cost of the new one. My son is thrilled to have his computer back and I could not be happier with the service. The price was very reasonable considering we made Neil drive all the way to our house three times and got a new and better power supply. Neil was always very professional, knowledgeable and kept us well informed. We will definitely use him again for any computer problems or upgrades.

Neil called before he arrived, was on time (early in fact), completed the work quickly and was very polite and professional.

Made web appointment, confirmed by TC from shop. Date and Time set. TEck schedule was light so he called and got permission (mine) to arrive early.

Arrived about 1 hr early,immediately went to work on PC.

Resolved conflicts and advised on HD problem.

two visits at separate times, that turned out to actually be three as he did not have a part with him ( computer gave him wrong model number,) there was one time problem ( he didn't show,) but that may well have been my fault as I interacted with a machine in setting up the apt - right at their closing time.
All in all, he was very professional and worked quickly and spoke real English not geek speak!

I called them and asked it they could bypass the bio password, and they said they would try. I took the laptop in, and they had it fixed in a matter of hours. They were polite and professional, and I would recommend them for PC repairs.

We called to set up an appointment and were seen the next day. Smooth deal.

This was the most professional interaction I have EVER had! BAR NONE! Neil was professional, courteous, and helpful (like a Boy Scout!) When I didn't have a specific cable, he looked in his car for one. Installed it AND DIDN'T CHARGE ME IT! When is that last time that ever happened? His price was well under the price of the Geek Squad and he worked right in my home. I will call him anytime I need help with technology. Bravo to him!

Excellent. I have been in the computer business for 35 years you know when someone is "bsing" you and they don't do that to you at all. Great company. I had an issue with something they did. The sound wasn't working properly and they came out right way and fixed the problem.

I got a call from the provider to set up an appointment. When I told him where I live, he told me that I was not within the service area and I was going to have to pay the $40.00 trip charge despite the fact that I bought the Special coupon from Angie's list. I went ahead with it anyway and am so glad that I did. For $40.00 he fixed my desktop and laptop computer issues in under an hour. I would definitely refer this company to anyone with computer issues. He was prompt, polite, and knowledgable. I got more than I paid for.

Neil arrived on time for an evening appointment. He asked what problems we were having with the computer and made several notes as we went along. He then removed several programs and files slowing the computer. Also added updated anti-virus and firewall. Explained what he was doing as he performed different functions. Also changed settings. My wife was reluctant to use the computer because it would take so long to get online. Now it runs as it did when new (about three years ago). We did get a special ( Angie's List pricing) for the service. Well worth it! If I had to pay regular price, it still would have been cheaper than replacing the computer.
