 + -1 moreYesterday I needed one bolt and nut to hang some shelving. Got exactly what I needed, and when I couldn't find the correct size bolt, one of the staff noticed and offered to help me find it. Great customer service, great little hardware store.
Description of Work: Hollywood Hardware is an old-fashioned neighborhood hardware store, not a big box. You can buy things like screws and bolts and nuts one at a time for small jobs, and get just what you need. And they are always happy to offer advice. They have an amazing variety of stock in a relatively small space, including some neat kitchen items. When I need an expensive tool or a lot of garden plants I may go to a big box, but for most hardware needs, my neighborhood Hollywood Hardware is where I go. (and they have a great old neon sign on their mid-century modern building!)

 + -1 moreGreat. They're a medium sized local hardware store. Big items are a bit more expensive but medium stuff is around the same price as a big box store. Some of the small miscellany is a little more expensive. The prices are worth it though because they have people working who actually know how to do the stuff and can give advice.
Description of Work: Glass, tools, sand, chain, miscellaneous hardware purchases over the years.
